Ich muss gestehen, der Croptop-Trend, den man in diesem Sommer überall sieht, gefällt mir richtig gut. Natürlich bin ich mir meines Alters bewusst und würde meinen nackten Bauch heute nicht mehr zur Schau stellen. Das finde ich nicht mehr angebracht. Trotzdem muss man auch im fortgeschrittenen Alter nicht auf Croptops verzichten. Wie das geht, will ich euch hier am Beispiel eines süßen Häkel-Croptops zeigen, das mir vor ein paar Tagen über den Weg lief:

I must confess I like the crop top trend, which you see everywhere this summer, very much. Of course I´m aware of my age and I wouldn´t present my bare belly any more. That wouldn´t be appropriate i think. Nevertheless you needn´t give up wearing crop tops at a mature age. I´ll show you how that works, using the example of a cute neon green crocheted crop top, which crossed my way a couple of days ago:
Über dem T-Shirt / Over the t-shirt
Im ersten Look habe ich mein gehäkeltes Croptop über ein weißes T-Shirt gezogen. Dazu trage ich meine selbst genähte Streifen-Culotte, weiße Chucks und einen weißen Shopper.
In my first look I´m wearing my crocheted crop top over a white t-shirt. I combined my self-made striped culottes , white Chucks and a white shopper bag with it.
Über der Hemdbluse / Over the shirt
Hier trage ich das Croptop über einer weißen Hemdbluse, zu der ich eine schwarze Cargohose aus Leinen kombiniert habe. Schwarze Chucks und ein schwarzes Schultertäschchen ģehören auch zum Look.
My next example shows my crop top worn over a white shirt, which I paired with black cargo trousers. Black Chucks and a little black shoulder bag are part of the look too.
Über dem Kleid / Over the dress
Das Croptop passt auch super zu meinem grün-weißen Kleid mit Blättermotiv. Die schwarzen Kittenheels und das schwarze Umhängetäschchen lassen den Look richtig schick aussehen.
The crop also top goes nicely with my greenand white dress with a pattern of leaves.the black kitten heels and the little black shoulder bag make the look a chic one.

Sehr cool. Das Top gefällt mir gut. Ich mag gern Layering. Und ohne was darunter wäre es mir eh zu kalt. Vom nackten Bauch in meinem Alter mal abgesehen. Als „Pullunder“ getragen finde ich es klasse.

That top and dress are made for each other. I also really like it with the simple black and white. Kudos for trying something like this. I will have to admit, this is not something that I could wear but it looks great on you.

Reni, I love this idea of layering the cropped top over longer garments! I have a similar knit cropped tank top in a bright yellow that looks super cool over a long button down tunic. I love your cropped top layered over your dress and the colors are just gorgeous! You have given me lots of new ideas for restyling mine!
