der Sommer gewährt uns einen Nachschlag, und in meinem letzten Beitrag habe ich ja angekündigt, dass es eine Fortsetzung mit blauen Boholooks geben wird. Voilà, hier ist sie:

summer presents us some extra time, and in my previous post I announced that there will be a continuation with blue boho looks. Voilà, here you are:
Meine blauen Boholooks: / My blue boho looks:
Das hellblaue Trägerkleid hat mehrere Stufen und ist knöchellang. Darunter passt am besten ein weißes T-Shirt, denke ich. Dann noch meine weiß-silbernenen Sandalen mit Fesselriemchen, ein weißer Bastkorb mit blauen Pompoms, blaue lange Kette mit Tassel und blaue Armbänder. Und natürlich die obligatorische Sonnenbrille.
The baby blue strap dress has several tiers and ankle length. Best choice for underneath is a white t-shirt I guess. Then my white-silver sandals with ankle strap, a white raffia basketwith blue pompoms, a long blue necklace with a tassel and blue bracelets. And of course the obligatory sunglasses.
Im nächsten Look trage ich einen blau-weißen Rock mit leichtem Vokuhilaeffekt und eine weiße Bohobluse. Weiße Schlappen, blaue Armbänder und natürlich wieder eine Sonnenbrille – fertig.
The next look shows a blue and white skirt with a slight mullet effect and a white boho blouse. White slippers, blue bracelets and of course sunglasses again – that´s it.
Das blau-cremeweiße Ethno-Midikleid braucht nur ein paar Accessoires, um zum Look zu werden. Ich habe eine cremeweiße Tasche und passende Mules ergänzt. Außerdem eine lange blaue Kette, Armbänder und Sonnenbrille.
The blue-off white ethnic dress simply needs some accessories to become a look. I chose a creamy white shoulder bag and matching mules. A long blue necklace, bracelets and sunglasses complete the look.

bei der letzten Style Imitating Art Challenge hat mich mein Boho-Look dazu inspiriert, einen Blogbeitrag zu diesem Thema zu schreiben. Der Boho-Style ist beeinflusst vom Hippie-Chic der 70er Jahre, von fremden Kulturen und auch von den Looks, die auf Festivals getragen werden. Dieser Style beschäftigt mich schon seit einer Weile, denn mir scheint, dass er in diesem Sommer besonders beliebt ist. Jedenfalls sehe ich in meiner Instagram-Bubble zur Zeit besonders viele Boho-Looks. Dieses Modethema ist mir natürlich nicht neu, denn ich habe schon Ende der 60er bzw. in den 70er Jahren so etwas getragen. Ich habe daher tief in meinem Schrank gegraben und so viele Teilchen zu diesem Thema gefunden, dass es wahrscheinlich sogar eine Fortsetzung geben wird. Dann aber nur mit blauen Looks!

at the latest Style Imitating Art challenge my boho look inspired me to write a blogpost about this topic. The boho style is influenced by the Hippie chic of the 70ies, by foreign cultures and also by looks, that people wear on festivals. I´ve been concerned with this style for quite a while already, because it seems to me, that Boho is very popular this summer. At least I see many Boho looks in my Instagram bubble recently. Of course this fashion topic is not new for me, because I wore this style already in the late 60ies and the 70ies. So I dug deep in my closet and I found so many items matching this topic, that there will likely be a sequel. But then only with blue looks!
Stufenrock und Knotenbluse / Tiered skirt and knotted blouse
Dieser Stufenrock ist schon sehr alt. Jedes Mal, wenn ich daran dachte, ihn den Maltesern zu spenden, konnte ich mich nicht dazu überwinden. Gut für mich, denn er eignet sich perfekt für einen Boho-Look, findet ihr nicht auch? Ich trage eine weiße, geknotete Hemdbluse zum Rock. Als Accessoires habe ich eine kleine runde Kordeltasche und weiße Schlappen gewählt. Eine braune Kette im afrikanischen Stil und ein braunes Armband aus Holzperlen runden den Look ab.
This tiered skirt is a very old one. Whenever I thought to give it to the charity shop, I couldn’t bring myself to do it. Lucky me, because it’s perfect for a boho look, don’t you think so too? I’m wearing a white, knotted blouse with the skirt. As accessories I chose a little round drawstring bag and white slides. A broun necklace in African style and a brown bracelet made of wooden pearls complete this look.
Batikhose und Romantikbluse / Tie-dye trousers and romantic blouse
Der nächste Look mit der süßen Batikhose ist ein richtiger Hippielook. Batik war ein Riesenthema in der Hippiezeit. Ich habe damals meinem Vater die Unterhemden stibitzt und mit Hilfe von Batikfarbe in coole Tanktops verwandelt. Ich trage hier zu der Hose eine romantische weiße Bluse mit großem Kragen und einem Schößchen. Außerdem wieder meine weiße Kordeltasche, diesmal mit blauem Pompomanhänger. Cremefarbene Mokassins, eine blaue Kette mit Quaste und zwei Armbänder mit blauen und braunen Holzperlen machen den Look komplett. Oops, ich habe die Sonnenbrille mit den runden blauen Gläsern vergessen!
My next look with these cute tie-dye trousers is a real Hippie look. Tie-dye was a big thing during the Hippie era. I used to take my father’s undershirts and transformed them into cool tanktops by means of the tie-dye technique. Here I’m wearing a romantic white blouse with a big collar and a peplum with the trousers. Also my white drawstring bag again, this time with a blue pompom pendant. Ivy coloured mokassins, a blue necklace with a tassel and two bracelets with blue and brown wooden pearls complete the look.Oops, I forgot the sunnies with the round blue glasses!
Patchworkrock und Bohobluse / Patchwork skirt and Boho blouse
Dieser Maxirock ist nicht wirklich ein Patchworkrock, er hat aber einen Patchwork-Print. Zusammen mit der weißen Bohobluse, den braunen Espadrilles mit passendem Gürtel und der Basttasche ist der Boho-Look perfekt. Die runde John Lennon Gedächtnisbrille ist das Tüpfelchen auf dem i. Der Rock war früher mal ein Kleid, dessen Oberteil mir überhaupt nicht mehr gefiel. Ich habe kurzerhand einen Rock daraus gemacht.
This maxi skirt isn’t actually a patchwork skirt, but it has got a patchwork print. Together with my white boho blouse, the brown espadrilles with a matching belt and a raffia bag, it’s a perfect boho look. And my roundish John Lennon memory sun glasses are the icing on the cake. The skirt once was a dress with a top part, I didn’t like at all. So I made a skirt of it.
