Hallo meine Lieben,

mein heutiger Look bewegt sich zwischen Schwarz und Weiß und ist ein wenig maritim angehaucht. Das liegt an der Seemannsmütze, die ich trage. Hauptakteur ist aber defininiv die Hahnentrittculotte aus einem warmen Tweedstoff. Sie ist bequem, stylisch und wärmend zugleich. Mit anderen Worten der ideale Begleiter für diese Jahreszeit. Ich trage dazu einen weißen Pullover mit schwarzen Bogenkanten und meine schwarze Daunen-Wendejacke (sie ist innen grau). Als Accessoires habe ich – außer dem Barett meine schwarzen Combatboots und eine schwarze Gürteltasche gewählt, die ich crossover trage. Wenn es kälter draußen ist, trage ich einen Oversize-Mantel dazu.

Hi my lovelies,

today´s look ranges between black and white and has a slightly Maritime touch. This is because of the sailor´s cap I´m wearing. But the key player definitely is my hounds tooth culotte, made of a warm tweed fabric. It´s comfortable, stylish and warming at the same time. In other words it´s the perfect companion for this time of year. I´m wearing a white sweater with black bow edges with the pants and my black reversible down jacket (it´s grey inside). Apart from the beret I chose black combat boots as my accessory and a black waist bag, which I´m wearing crossover. When it´s colder outside I would wear an oversize coat with it.

CAMELCOAT UND KARIERTE CULOTTES / CAMEL COAT AND CHECKED CULOTTES

Hallo meine Lieben,

ein Camelcoat, also ein camelfarbener Mantel, gehört wohl zu den 10-15 Klassikern, die fast jede Frau in ihrem Schrank hat. Ein Camelcoat wird so schnell nicht unmodern und steht fast jeder Frau. Es gibt diese Mäntel in den verschiedensten Ausführungen: vom Blazermantel über den Trenchstyle bis hin zum Oversizeschnitt. Dieser hier ist midilang, hat überschnittene Schultern und aufgesetzte Taschen. Er ist ungefüttert und daher der ideale Begleiter im Frühling, Herbst und, mit einem warmen Pullover drunter, an milden Wintertagen. Trotz des fehlenden Futters hält er warm, denn er besteht zur Hälfte aus Wolle. Die andere Hälfte besteht aus Viskose, wodurch er einen wunderbar weichen Griff bekommt, und aus Polyester. Man kann die Farbe mit ganz vielen anderen Farben kombinieren. Ehrlich gesagt, fällt mir gerade keine Farbe ein, zu der er nicht passen würde.

Ich habe meinen Camelcoat hier mit beige-rot-schwarz-karierten Culottes und einem schwarzen Kaschmirrolli kombiniert. Dazu trage ich schwarze Booties und eine Sonnenbrille.

a camel coat is probably one of the 10-15 essentials, that nearly every woman has in her cupboard. A camel coat will not easily become out of fashion and it suits nearly every woman. These coats come along in different shapes: in blazer style, trench style or in oversize cut. This one here has midi length, over-cut shoulders and patch pockets. It has no lining and thus is the perfect companion for spring, autumn and, with a cosy sweater underneeth, for mild winter days too. Despite the lack of a lining it keeps you warm because one half of it consists of wool. The other half is viscose, which makes it feel quite soft, and polyester. This colour matches with nearly every other colour. To be honest, I cant think of any colour, that wouldn´t.

I´m wearing my camel coat with beige-red-black checked culottes, and a black cashmere-turtleneck. Black booties and sunglasses complete the look.

HAWAII-TOP UND PAPERBAG CULOTTE / HAWAII TOP AND PAPER BAG CULOTTES

Hallo meine Lieben,

wer hätte gedacht, dass der Sommer sich selbst im September noch nicht verabschieden möchte? Nun, ich habe nichts dagegen, denn so kann ich dieses hübsche Top, dessen Blütenmuster an ein Hawaii-Hemd erinnert, noch tragen, ohne mir eine Erkältung zu holen. Farblich passt es doch perfekt in den Herbst, findet ihr nicht? Außerdem passt es auch ganz hervorragend zu meiner Culotte mit Paperbag-Bund. Es hat Cut-Outs an den Schultern (cold shoulder) und Trompetenärmel. Mit der Basttasche und den Mokassins kommt noch einmal richtiges Sommerfeeling auf. Weiter so, Herbst!

who would have thought that the summer still doesn´t want to say goodbye in September? But I don´t mind that, because I can still wear this lovely top without catching a cold. Its floral print reminds me of a Hawaii shirt, and the colours are perfect for autumn, aren´t they? And it goes perfectly with my culottes with their paper bag waist. The top has cut outs at the shoulders (cold shoulder) and trumpet sleeves. With this raffia bag and the mokassins the summer feeling comes back again. Keep on like this, autumn!

SCHULTERFREI – EIN MUSS IN DIESEM SOMMER / OFF THE SHOULDER – A MUST HAVE THIS SUMMER

Hallo ihr Lieben,

ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann der schulterfreie Look schon einmal so im Trend war, wie in diesem Sommer! Ob als Cut-Out oder ganz schulterfrei, ob bei Kleidern oder Tops – in diesem Sommer zeigt frau Schulter! Aber bei diesem Jahrhundert-Sommer kann es ja auch nicht luftig genug sein, oder? Als ich dieses Blüschen gefunden habe, war ich auf Anhieb angetan. Der Jeansstoff besteht aus Lyocell, einem wunderbar weichen Material mit hervorragenden Trageeigenschaften, über die ich hier schon einmal berichtet habe. Aber nicht nur das Material, sondern auch der schulterfreie Schnitt und die süßen Bändchen an den Ärmeln haben mir sehr gefallen.

Ich trage meine Bluse hier mit meiner selbst genähten Streifen-Culotte und hellblauen Espadrilles mit silbernen Pailletten drauf. Dazu eine blau reflektierende Sonnenbrille, eine blaue Kette mit Tassel und eine graue Tasche mit Clip-Verschluss. Fertig ist ein Look, mit dem man bei diesem Wetter genau richtig liegt!

I really can´t remember when off the shoulder looks were as trendy as this year before! Either as a cut out or completely off the shoulder, either with tops or dresses – this summer woman has to show her shoulders! But in this summer of the century nothing can be airy enough, right? When I saw this top I liked it at once. Its jeans fabric is made of lyocell, a wonderfully soft material with excellent wearing properties, which I already discribed here some time ago. But I didn´t only like the material very much, but also the off shoulder cut and the cute sleeve straps.

I´m wearing my top with my self made striped culottes and a pair of light blue espadrilles with silver sequins. Blue reflecting sun glasses, a blue necklace with a tassel and a grey clip bag also go with it. This is a look which is perfectly matching the current weather!

WIE EIN COWGIRL / LIKE A COWGIRL

Hallo meine Lieben,

ich habe einen sonnigen Moment erwischt und ihn genutzt, um meinen ersten Look im neuen Jahr zu fotografieren. Findet ihr nicht auch, dass ich aussehe wie ein Cowgirl? Die Kombination von Rüschen-Jeanshemd, schwarzer Culotte, dem Korsagen-Gürtel und meinen Cowboy-Boots würde durchaus auch in den Wilden Westen passen, oder?

I caught a sunny spell and took the advantage to shoot my first look of the new year. Don´t you agree with me that I look like a cowgirl? This combo of the ruffled jeans-shirt, my black culottes, the corset belt and my cowboy boots could easily be seen in the Wild West, couldn´t it?

SCHULTERFREI / OFF-SHOULDER

Der Wetterbericht hat für die nächsten Tage richtig warme Temperaturen vorausgesagt. Bei solchem Wetter möchte man sich möglichst luftig anziehen. Zum Beispiel eine solche weiße schulterfreie Bluse. Diese hier habe ich bei NewYorker gefunden. Sie ist aus Baumwoll-Stretch und herrlich leicht. Ich trage dazu meine selbstgenähte Streifenculotte und meine Pailetten-Espadrilles. Ich mag diesen unangestrengten Sommerlook! Ihr auch?

The weather forecast predicted very warm temperatures for the upcoming days. When the weather is that pleasant you want to dress as light as possible. For example a white off-shoulder blouse like this one. I found it at NewYorker. It´s of a stetchy cotton and wonderfully light. I´m wearing my self-made culottes and my sequin-Espadrilles with it. IN DER MODE KOMMT ALLES WIEDER / EVERYTHING COMES BACK IN FASHION

Neulich fiel mir ein altes Foto in die Hände, das vor 40 Jahren auf Ibiza aufgenommen wurde. Es zeigt mich in Jeans-Culottes, Holzclogs, einer hellblauen Bluse und einer Clutch. Dazu trage ich eine coole Sonnenbrille. Das Outfit könnte ich heute genau so tragen, oder?

The other day I ran into an old photo which was taken 40 years ago in Ibiza. It shows me in jeans culottes, wooden clogs, a light-blue blouse and a clutch. I´m wearing cool shades with it. This outfit could easily be worn today, too, don´t you think so?

HERAUSFORDERUNG SCHWARZE CULOTTE / CHALLENGE BLACK CULOTTES

Als ich diese schwarze Culotte gekauft habe, habe ich nicht damit gerechnet, wie schwierig es ist, sie so zu stylen, dass sie nicht altbacken wirkt. Mit meiner schwarzen Lederjacke, den Plateau-Sandalen und meiner Lieblingstasche ist es mir aber denke ich gelungen. Was meint ihr?

When I bought these black culottes I didn´t expect how difficult it would be to style it in a way that doesn´t appear old-fashioned. But I think I managed quite well with my black leather jacket, platforms and my favourite bag. What do you think?

CULOTTE MIT STREIFEN / STRIPED CULOTTES (SELF-MADE)

Streifen – eine unendliche Geschichte. Hier präsentiere ich die grau-weiße Variante in Form meiner selbst genähten Culotte. Die habe ich zwar vor längerer Zeit schon einmal gezeigt. Aber jetzt habe ich sie völlig anders gestylt mit grauem Shirt und einer weißen Leinenweste. Dazu trage ich silberne Pantoletten, ein weißes Täschchen und Ethnoschmuck. Das ist ein Frühlingslook ganz nach meinem Geschmack! Gefällt er euch auch?

Stripes – a never ending story. This time I present a grey and white example in the shape of my self-made culottes. In fact I showed them some time ago already but this time I styled them completely different with a grey Tee and a white linnen vest. I´m wearing silver slip-ons, a white bag and Ethnic jewellery with it. I really fancy this spring look! Do you like it, too?

VINTAGE-SCHÄTZCHEN OLIV CULOTTE / VINTAGE DARLING OLIVE CULOTTES

Nachdem ich im Urlaub schon meine Sommersachen tragen konnte, habe ich jetzt wirklich keine Lust mehr auf warme Klamotten! Wie gern würde ich meine heißgeliebte Culotte anziehen, die ich vor einiger Zeit vorm Second-Hand-Laden bewahrt habe. Geht aber noch nicht. Habe mich auch prompt nach meiner Rückkehr erkältet. Also: Weiterhin warm verpacken!

Wearing summer clothes already during my holidays, I´m honestly fed up with warm stuff now. I´d really love to wear my dear old culottes which I saved from the second-hand store some time ago. Still doesn´t work. But I´ve caught a cold anyway after coming home. So I carry on wrapping warmly!
