Strickkleider passen wohl am besten in den Winter. Verallgemeinern kann man das aber nicht. Es kommt nämlich darauf an, wie der Strick beschaffen ist, d. h. wie dick er ist und aus welchem Material. Mein rostrotes Strickkleid ist ein Neuzugang in meinem Kleiderschrank. Es ist aus dünnem Garn (80% Baumwolle, 10%Wolle) gestrickt und hat ein breites Rippenmuster. Es ist gerade geschnitten, knielang, hat lange Ärmel, einen V-Ausschnitt und einen Kragen. Ich kann es nicht nur jetzt im Winter tragen, sondern auch noch im Frühling. Ich zeige euch mal einige meiner Stylingideen für verschiedene Anlässe:

Knit dresses probably fit best in the winter. But this can not be generalized, because it depends on how the knit is made. That means how thick it is and from what material. My rust red knit dress is a new addition to my closet. It´s knitted from a thin yarn (90% Cotton, 10% Wool) and has a wide rib pattern. It is straight cut, knee length, has long sleeves and a v-neck collar. I can wear it not only now in the winter but also in spring. I show you now some of my styling ideas for different occasions:
Lässig mit Lederjacke / Casual with leather jacket
Hier trage ich das Strickkleid mit meiner schwarzen Lederjacke. Zusammen mit den Reißverschluss-Stiefeletten entsteht ein lässiger Look. Accessoires sind eine dicke Gliederkette und eine grau-schwarze Umhängetasche mit Kettengurt.
Here I wear the knit dress with my black leather jacket. Together with my zipper ankle boots a casual look is created. Accessories are a thick link chain and a little grey and black bag with chain strap.
Klassisch mit Rollkragenshirt und Blazer / Classy with turtleneck shirt and blazer
Wenn es etwas klassischer sein soll, kombiniere ich ein schwarzes Rollishirt und einen grau-schwarzen Blazer zum Kleid. Außerdem schwarze Chelseaboots, eine schwarze Stepptasche und eine schwarze Perlenkette mit Anhänger.
If it should be a little more classic I combine a black turtleneck shirt and a grey and black blazer with the dress. Also black Chelsea boots, a black quilted bag and a black pearl necklace with pendant.
Schick mit Smokingjacke / Chic with Tuxedo jacket
Für schicke Anlässe kann ich diese schwarze Smokingjacke und die schwarzen Schnürstiefeletten aus Wildleder zum Kleid tragen. Accessoires sind hier mein schwarzes Satteltäschchen und eine Statementkette im Blütendesign.
For fancy occasions I can wear this black Tuxedo jacket and the black suede lace up ankle boots with the dress. Accessories here are my little black saddle bag and a statement necklace in flower design.

der Winter war bisher so mild, dass man überall in der Natur schon erste Knospen sieht. Wahrscheinlich denkt die Natur, der Frühling sei schon im Anmarsch. Seit ein paar Tagen ist es zwar kalt geworden, aber das soll nur von kurzer Dauer sein. Auch ich denke schon an den Frühling, er ist meine liebste Jahreszeit. Ein Grund dafür ist kleidungstechnischer Natur. Man muss sich nicht mehr so warm einpacken und kann wieder häufiger Röcke und Kleider tragen, ohne zu frieren. Bis es so weit ist, muss man aber nicht ganz auf Kleider verzichten, wie ich euch in diesem Beitrag zeigen möchte. Ich habe nämlich schon mal ein paar Kleider aus dem Schrank geholt und sie so kombiniert, dass ich sie an milden Wintertagen schon tragen kann, nämlich mit einem Pullover drüber!

the winter has been so mild so far, that you can already see first buds everywhere in nature. Probably nature thinksthat spring is already approaching. Though is has become cold for a few days, but this should be not for long. Also I already think about the spring, it´s my favourite season. One reason for this is related to clothing. You don´t have to wrap up so warm any more and can wear skirts and dresses more often without freezing. But until then you don´t have to do without dresses completely, as I would like to show you in this post. I got somedresses out of my closet and combined them so that I can wear them already on mild winter days. That means with a sweater over it!
Karokleid und bestickter Pullover / Checked dress and embroidered sweater
Dieses schwarze Kleid mit dem weißen Karo hat zwar lange Ärmel und besteht aus festem Stoff, aber man muss etwas darüber tragen, wenn man es jetzt schon anziehen will. Zum Beispiel diesen schwarz-grau-melierten Pullover in Wickeloptik mit Bumenstickerei und Bindegürtel. Das schwarze Stepptäschchen und die schwarzen Reißverschlussboots passen gut dazu.
This black dress with the white check has long sleeves and it´s made of a solid fabric, but you have to wear something over it, if you want to wear it already now. For example this black and grey mottled sweater in wrap look with flower embroidery and a tie belt. The little black quilted bag and the zipper boots go perfectly with it.
Hemdblusenkleid und Pullover mit Blütenintarsien / Shirtdress and sweater with flower inlays
Das gelbe Hemdblusenkleid gehört eigentlich in den Sommer. Aber wenn ich meinen warmen schwarzen Pullover mit den cremefarbenen Blütenintarsien und die schwarzen Stiefel dazu anziehe, kann ich es auch jetzt schon tragen. Das cremefarbene Stepptäschchen passt gut zum Pullover.
The yellow shirt dress actually belongs in the summer. But if I wear my cozy black sweater with the cream flower inlays and the black boots with it, I can already wear it now. The little cream quilted shoulder bag fits well with the sweater.
Volantkleid und Pullover mit Kontrasträndern / Flounce dress and sweater with contrast edges
Auch dieses rote florale Rüschenkleid trage ich normalerweise im Sommer. Aber mit dem weißen Pullover mit schwarzen Kontrasträndern darüber und mit den weißen Schnürstiefeletten und der schwarzen Stepptasche ist es ein Look für milde Wintertage.

Ein typisches „Kleines Schwarzes“ habe ich nicht. Aber das Strickkleid, das ich euch heute zeigen möchte, könnte durchaus als solches durchgehen, wenn man es entsprechend stylt. Was soll das heißen? Nun ja, unter einem „Kleinen Schwarzen “ versteht man laut Wikipedia ein klassisch elegant geschnittenes schwarzes Kleid, das lang oder kurz sein kann. Ursprünglich wurde es 1926 von Coco Chanel entworfen und war knielang, untailliert, langärmelig und ohne luxuriöse Verzierungen. Es wird häufig als Cocktailkleid entworfen.
Mein schwarzes Strickkleid ist ebenfalls knielang und untailliert. Es hat halblange Ärmel, eine kurze offene Knopfleiste (ohne Knöpfe) und einen kleinen Kragen. Es ist breit gerippt gestrickt, hat Seitenschlitze und besteht zu 70% aus Viskose. Das Kleid hat viel Potential. Es lässt sich nämlich nicht nur zum „Kleinen Schwarzen“ stylen, sondern auch für jeden anderen Anlass. Hier sind meine Stylingideen:
I don´t have a typical „Little Black Dress“. But the knitted dress I would like to present you today could definitely be accepted as one, if you style it accordingly. What do I mean? Well, according to Wikipedia a Little Black Dress means a classically elegant cut black dress, which can be short or long. Originally it was designed by Coco Chanel in 1926 and it was knee-length, unwaisted, long-sleeved and without luxurious embellishments. It is often designed as a cocktail dress.
My black knitted dress is also knee-length, unwaisted and without embellishment. It has half-length sleeves, a short open button panel (no buttons) and a little collar. It is broad rib knitted with side slits and is made of 70% viscose. The dress has a lot of potential. It can’t only be styled as „Little Black Dress“ but for any other occasion as well. Here are my styling ideas:

Für festliche Anlässe trage ich zum Kleid eine silberne Körperkette, ein Glitzerarmband und silberne Ringe. Außerdem schwarze spitze Slingpumps und eine silberne Clutch.
For festive occasions I wear my dress with a silver body chain, a glitter bracelet and silver rings. Also black pointed sling pumps and a silver clutch.
Zum Ausgehen / For an evening out
Wenn mein Schatz mich zum Abendessen ausführt, trage ich diesen dünnen, gestreiften Stehkragenpulli unter meinem Kleid. Dazu habe ich hier eine blickdichte schwarze Strumpfhose, meine schwarzen Schnürstiefeletten und die gesteppte Pouch gewählt.
When my sweetheart takes me out for dinner, I wear this light, striped turtleneck jumper under my dress. I chose here black opaque tights, my black laced booties and the quilted pouch bag with it.
Für jeden Tag / For every day
Für jeden Tag würde ich jetzt im Winter ein Langarmshirt wie dieses karierte hier drunter tragen. Dazu eine blickdichte schwarze Strumpfhose, meine Reißverschlussboots und eine große schwarze Umhängetasche.
For every day now in winter I would put a longsleeve shirt like this checkered one underneath. Black opaque tights, my zipper boots and a big black shoulder bag go with it.

in der Vergangenheit habe ich schon mehrmals Looks gezeigt, wo ich ein Kleid über einer Hose trage. Hier geht es nun weiter mit einem neuen Lagenlook dieser Art. Es ist ein Sommerlook mit einem knielangen Batikkleid mit Knopfleiste und Kragen. Ohne Hose drunter ist es ein Kleid für heiße Hochsommertage und für gebräunte Beine. Von beidem sind wir ja noch weit entfernt. Meine Beine zumindest sehen z. Zt. noch aus wie Käsestangen. Aber mit Hose drunter könnte man das Kleid jetzt schon tragen. Ich habe drei verschiedene Hosen mit unterschiedlichen Schnittformen zum Kleid kombiniert:

I´ve already shown you several looks with a dress worn over trousers in the past. Here it goes on with another layering look of this kind. It’s a summer look with a tie dye dress in knee length with a button tape and a collar. Without trousers underneath it´s a dress for hot midsummer days and for tanned legs. But we are still a long way from both. At least my legs are currently looking like cheese sticks. But with trousers underneath I could already wear the dress now. I combined three trousers with different cut shapes with the dress:
Batikkleid mit weißer Jeans / Tie dye dress with white jeans
Die weiße Jeans ist knöchellang und hat gerade geschnittene Hosenbeine. Ich trage das Kleid locker darüber. Weiße Schlappen und ein weißes Crossover-Täschchen runden den Look ab. Natürlich darf auch die für mich obligatorische Sonnenbrille nicht fehlen.
These white jeans are ankle length and have straight cut legs. I´m wearing the dress loosely over it. White slides and a crossbody bag are also in the game. Of course the obligatory sunglasses for me must not be missing.
Batikkleid mit gelber Zigarettenhose / Tie dye dress with yellow cigarette pants
Diese gelbe Hose passt farblich perfekt zum Kleid. Sie ist schmal geschnitten und ebenfalls knöchellang. Ich habe hier das Kleid mit einem schmalen weißen Gürtel auf Taille gebracht. Dazu trage ich silberne Schlappen und wieder das weiße Täschchen und eine Sonnenbrille.
The yellow colour of these pants matches the dress perfectly. They are slim fit cut and ankle length as well. I brought the dress to waist with a narrow white belt this time. I´m wearing silver slides, my little white bag and sunglasses with this look.
Batikkleid mit Kickflare-Jeans / Tie dye dress with kickflare jeans
Diese Jeans habt ihr zuletzt in meinem vorigen Beitrag gesehen. Ich liebe sie sehr, das habt ihr wohl schon gemerkt, denn ich habe sie schon mehrmals gepostet. Ich trage das KLeid wieder locker drüber und ergänze den Look mit weißen Sneakers und einem weißen Shopper. Dazu passt blauer Schmuck.
You saw these jeans just recently in my previous post. I love them very much, you might have noticed this, because I´ve already posted it several times before. I´m wearing the dress loosely over the jeans again and complete the look with white sneakers and a white shopper bag. Blue jewelry goes nicely with it.

Schwalben sind meine Lieblingsvögel (gemeinsam mit Amseln, die singen so schön). Wenn sie aus dem Süden zurück sind, dann weiß man, dass der Sommer vor der Tür steht. Doch bevor ihr jetzt alle den Himmel absucht: die Vögelchen kommen meistens erst nach den Eisheiligen. Aber schaut doch mal auf mein cooles Seidenkleid, da tummeln sich nämlich schon die Schwalben. Es ist ein mokkafarbenes Hemdblusenkleid mit Seitenschlitzen und einem Unterkleid aus Viskose.

Swallows are my favourite birds (together with blackbirds, they sing so beautifully). When they come back from the south everybody knows that summer is just around the corner. But before you search the sky now: these birds normally don’t get back before the ice saints. But when you take a look at my cool silk dress, you can already see the swallows flying around. It’s a mocka-coloured shirt dress with slits at both sides and an underdress made of viscose.
I’ll show you three ideas of styling my swallow dress: a chic one, a casual look and a layering look.

obwohl der Frühling an manchen Tagen schon spürbar ist, müssen wir uns wohl noch eine Weile gedulden, bis wir die leichten Sachen aus dem Winterschlaf holen können. Ich kann es jedenfalls kaum erwarten. Aber vorher müssen wir noch die Übergangszeit hinter uns bringen, in der man häufig nicht weiß, was man anziehen soll. Morgens herrschen noch frostige Temperaturen, mittags möchte man sich dann alles vom Leib reißen. Das ist die richtige Zeit für ein leichtes Strickkleid. Wie gut, dass der Weihnachtsmann mir das edle Polo-Strickkleid gebracht hat (Ich muss wohl ein sehr braves Mädchen gewesen sein, hihi)! Das Kleid ist cremeweiß und besteht aus einer ganz feinen, reinen Schurwolle. Es hat einen Kragen und Perlmuttknöpfe am Ausschnitt wie ein Polohemd. Seitlich ist es geschlitzt. Es gibt unendlich viele Möglichkeiten, es in der Übergangszeit zu tragen. Einige davon möchte ich euch hier zeigen. Los geht´s:

although every now and then spring is already in the air, we still have to be a little patient until we can get our light clothes out of their winter sleep. Actually I´m unpatiently looking forward to warmer weather. But until then we have to overcome the season in between, often not knowing what to wear. Early in the morning temperatures are freezy cold, at noon you want to rip everything off. That´s the perfect time for a light knit dress. Lucky me, that Santa brought me this noble polo knit dress (seems I had been a very good girl, hihi)! The dress is off-white and made of a very soft pure lambs wool. It has got a collar and pearl buttons at the neckline. It also has slits at both sides. There are endless ways to wear it in the season in between. I´ll show you a couple of them. Here we go:

ich hoffe, ihr hattet eine schöne Weihnachtszeit und seid gut und gesund ins neue Jahr gekommen. Bei mir ging es ganz ruhig zu. Mein Goldstück und ich hatten eine gemütliche Zeit zu Zweit, haben lecker (und natürlich zu viel) gegessen und getrunken und unser schönes Zuhause genossen. I´ve had a dress hanging in my closet for months, but for known reasons I haven´t had a chance yet to wear it. That has now changed because it had its premiere on Christmas Eve. It´s a beige kimono dress with black trim and black floral embroidery. But you can´t just wear it as a dress…
Mein Kimonokleid / My kimono dress
Das Kleid hat eine verdeckte Knopfleiste und einen Bindegürtel mit Tunnelzug. Zusammen mit meinen schwarzen Armani-Kittenheels und der Statementkette ist der Look elegant genug, um neben dem Weihnachtsbaum zu glänzen, findet ihr nicht?
My dress has a hidden button tape and a tie belt with drawstring. Together with my black Armani kitten heels and the statement necklace the look is elegant enough to shine next to the Christmas tree, don´t you think so too?
Mein Kleid als Mantel / My dress as a coat
Hier trage ich das Kleid offen, wie einen Mantel, über einem schwarzen T-Shirtkleid. Die Accessoires sind gleich geblieben. Mit Sneakers oder Sandalen ware dies ein Streetstyle-Look für den Sommer, um (hoffentlich wieder) abends essen oder mit der Freundin bummeln zu gehen.
This time I´m wearing my dress open like a coat over a black T-shirt dress. The accessories stayed the same. With sneakers or sandals this would be a streetstyle look for the summer to go (hopefully again soon) out to dinner in the evening or for a city stroll with a friend.
Mein Kleid als Kimono/ My dress as a kimono
Einen Kimono trägt man ja gerne als Morgenmantel über einem Pyjama. Das habe ich in einen Tageslook umgesetzt, indem ich mein Kleid offen, aber mit geschlossenem Gürtel über einer schwarzen, breit gerippten Strickhose und einem schwarzen Pulli trage. Dazu passen meine schwarzen Mules mit Webpelzbesatz. Natürlich könnte man auch Farbe ins Spiel bringen. Das muss ich dringend mal ausprobieren!
A kimono is often worn as a dressing gown over a pyjama. I transformed this idea into a daytime look. I´m wearing the dress unbuttoned but with the belt closed over wide ribbed knit pants and a little black sweater. My black mules with fake fur trim go with it. Of course you could also bring colour into the game. I should definitely try this!

bereits zu Beginn des Sommers ist mir ein schwarzes Denimkleid zugelaufen, das ich euch noch gar nicht vorgestellt habe. Es ist midilang, hat Seitenschlitze und einen Bindegürtel. Um zu entscheiden, ob ich es behalten oder zurückschicken sollte, habe ich ausprobiert, welche Tragevarianten es hergibt. Bei mir gilt nämlich die Regel, dass dies mindestens drei sein müssen, um es in meinen Schrank zu schaffen. Das Kleid hat es geschafft! Nun habe ich überlegt, ob man das Kleid auch in den Herbst retten kann. Man kann! Einfach einen Mantel drüber ziehen! Hier sind meine Looks:

already at the beginning of the summer a black denim dress crossed my way, which I haven’t introduced to you yet. It has midi length, sidely slits and a tie belt. To decide if I should keep it or send it back, I tried out which different looks would be possible. I have the rule that three at least have to be possible to have the chance to get into my closet. The dress made it! Now I wondered if I can save it in the fall. I can! I just throw over a coat! These are my looks:
Erster Look:
Beim ersten Look trage ich das Kleid so, wie es ist – ganz normal als Kleid, nur mit Accessoirs: Rote Sonnenbrille, Kette mit rotem Herzanhänger, rotes Armband. Dazu meine neuen Kittenheels von Armani. Ja richtig, die habe ich mir mal gegönnt, als ich neulich mit meiner Freundin Vera die Kö in Düsseldorf unsicher gemacht habe. Das musste einfach sein, denn ich gehe darin, wie in Pantoffeln, und außerdem waren sie um mehr als die Hälfte reduziert! Mit einem Trenchcoat oder einem leichten Wollmantel drüber kann ich das Kleid auch jetzt noch draußen tragen, zumal der Stoff relativ fest ist.
First look:
For my first look I’m wearing the dress just as it is – simply as a dress but with red accessories: Red sunglasses, necklace with a red heart pendant, red bracelet. My new Armani kitten heels go perfect with it. That’s right, I treated myself to that when I recently headed out to the Kö in Düsseldorf with my friend Vera. It just had to be because I walk in them like on slippers and besides, they were reduced by more than half. With a trench coat or a light wool coat I can still wear the dress outdoors now, even more as the denim is relatively solid.
Zweiter Look:
Beim nächsten Look trage ich mein Kleid wie einen Mantel über einer roten, knöchellangen Hose mit weiten Beinen, dazu ein Streifenshirt. Als Accessoires habe ich schwarze Mokassins, eine schwarze Sonnenbrille und eine zweireihige Gliederkette gewählt. Die Fotos sind entstanden, als es noch wärmer war. Mittlerweile müsste ich festere Schuhe dazu tragen, z.B. Loafer (suche ich noch nach) oder flache Schnürer.
Second look:
In my next look I’m wearing my dress like a coat over a striped shirt and red, ancle length trousers with wide legs. For my accessories I chose black mokassins, black sunglasses and a double-row chain necklace. I took the photos when it still was warmer outside. Meanwhile I’d have to wear shoes which are a bit more solid, like loafers perhaps (stll looking for those) or flat lace-ups.
Dritter Look:
Der dritte Look ist ein Lagenlook und gefällt mir besonders gut. Ich trage mein Kleid offen aber mit gebundenem Gürtel über einem mauvefarbenen, gerippten Shirtkleid. Dazu sehen meine schwarze Sneaker richtig cool aus. Die schwarze Cat-Eye Sonnenbrille und die lange Ethnokette ergänzen den Look.
Third look:
My third look is a layering look and I like it best. I’m wearing my dress unbuttoned but with the belt tied up over a mauve coloured ribbed shirt dress. My black sneakers look rather cool with it. The black cat eye sunglasses and a long boho necklace complete the look.

ich habe zum zweiten Mal an der Style Imitating Art (SIA) Challenge teilgenommen und daher in meinem Kleiderschrank nach einem farbenfrohen Kleidungsstück mit den Farben Türkis und Orange gesucht. Dabei sprang mir ein selbstgenähtes Kleid ins Auge, das ich bereits vor ca. 10 Jahren genäht habe. Ich habe es euch noch nie gezeigt, hier ist es:

for the second time I took part in the Style Imitating Art (SIA) challenge, and so I browsed my wardrobe for a colourful piece of clothing with the colours turquoise and orange. A self-made dress caught my eye, which I made already about 10 years ago. I haven’t shown it to you yet, so here you are:
Das Kleid / The dress
Obwohl ich das Kleid schon so lange habe, habe ich es bis vor 2 Jahren selten getragen, weil mir der Schnitt nie richtig gefiel. Es war mir zu kurz und die Ärmel waren mir auch zu langweilig. Glücklicherweise hatte ich noch genügend Stoff übrig, einen bunten Viskose-Stretch-Satin mit großem Blumenmuster. Das reichte für Volants an den Ärmeln und am Rocksaum. Derart verwandelt ist das Kleid nun ganz nach meinem Geschmack, und es kann sicher sein, im Sommer wieder ausgeführt zu werden. Ich liebe solche Upcycling-Aktionen sehr – fast noch mehr als Neues zu nähen!
Although I have got the dress that long, I haven´t worn it very often until 2 years ago, because I didn´t like its cut very much. It was too short for me and the sleeves were a little boring too. Fortunately I had enough of the fafric left, a colourful Viscose-Stretch-Satin with big florals. That was enough for adding ruffles to the sleeves and the hem. Transformed like this the dress now suits my taste perfectly, and it can be sure to be taken for walks again in the summer. I love those upcycling projects – almost more than making new clothes!

Die Style Imitating Art (SIA) Challenge wird von 3 kreativen Frauen gehostet, deren Blogs ich unten verlinken werde. Jeden zweiten Montag stellt eine der Hosts ein Kunstwerk vor, das uns inspirieren soll, einen Look zu kreieren. Am darauf folgenden Montag zeigen alle 3 Hosts uns ihre Looks auf ihren Blogs. Am nächsten Tag reichen alle Teilnehmer ihre Looks per E-Mail bei der Veranstalterin (Adresse auf deren Blog) ein und schreiben ein paar erklärende Worte dazu. Am Mittwoch präsentiert die jeweilige Veranstalterin alle Styleideen auf ihrem Blog.

Every other Monday one of the hosts presents us a piece of art which is ment to inspire us to create a look. The following Monday the 3 hosts present their looks on their blogs. The next day all participants send their looks by email to the current curator (adress on her blog) and write some words of explanation. On Wednesday the current curator presents all the style ideas on her blog.

Das Bild zeigt wellenförmige Polarlichter am Nachthimmel. Ihre Farben sind Türkis, Orange und Beige. Aber wenn man genauer hinschaut, sieht man noch viele weitere Farben: Bordeauxrot, Gelb, Braun und mehr. Die Polarlichter befinden sich über einer Landschaft mit Hügeln und Wasser. Im Wasser werden die Farben der Polarlichter gespiegelt. Mich haben nicht nur die Farben des Bildes inspiriert, sondern auch die Bewegung, die sich sowohl in den Polarlichtern zeigt als auch im Wasser.
The picture shows wavy polar lights in the night sky. Their colours are turquoise, orange and beige. But when you have a closer look, you see many more colours: burgundy, yellow, brown and more. Below the polar lights is a landscape with hills and water.The colours of the polar lights are reflected by the water. I was inspired by the colours of the picture as well as by the motion of the polar lights and the water.
Mein Look / My look
Ich wollte einen Look finden, der ebenso farbenfroh ist wie die Polarlichter, ohne dabei zu grell zu wirken. Er sollte aber auch Bewegung ausdrücken. Mein selbstgenähtes Rüschenkleid schien mir optimal geeignet. Es ist bunt, und die Rüschen stehen für die Bewegung. Ich habe braune Mokassins zum Kleid kombiniert. Als Hintergrund für das Foto diente mein petrolbarbener Wohnzimmervorhang, dessen Falten ebenfalls die Bewegung im Bild widerspiegeln. Auch in meiner Pose habe ich versucht, Bewegung auszudrücken.
I wanted to find a look that is as colourful as the polar lights without being too vibrant. It also should express motion. My self-made ruffled dress seemed to be perfect. It´s colourful, and the ruffles stand for the motion. I combined brown Mokassins with the dress. My petrol coloured living room curtains served as background for the photo, their pleats repeat the motion in the picture. I also tried to express the motion in my pose.

manche Kleider sind so vielseitig kombinierbar, dass man sie theoretisch einen ganzen Monat tragen könnte und doch jeden Tag anders aussähe. Glaubt ihr nicht? Stimmt aber! Ich zeige euch nun 10 verschiedene Styling-Ideen mit meinem Kleid. Wenn Ihr euch jeweils 3 Variationen jedes Styles vorstellt, ergibt das 30 Möglichkeiten, das Kleid zu tragen. Los geht´s:

some dresses are so versatile that you could theoretically wear them a whole month and still looking different every single day. You don´t believe me? It´s true! I´ll show you 10 different styling ideas with my dress. When you consider 3 variations of each style, you get 30 possibilities to wear the dress. Here we go :
So, jetzt wird gerechnet: / Now it´s time to calculate:
Dieses schwarze Kleid braucht, außer ein Paar Schuhen, eigentlich nur einen Gürtel, um zu einem Look zu werden. Ich zeige es euch beispielhaft mit einem silberfarbenen Kettengürtel. Aber genau so schön wäre ein breiter weißer Gürtel oder ein Bindegürtel in einer Knallfarbe oder … Das wären schon mindestens 3 Varianten.
This black dress needs nothing more than a belt to become a look, except a pair of shoes of course. I will show you an example with a silver coloured chain belt. But a wide white belt or a tie belt in a statement colour or … would be nice as well. These are at least 3 variations.
Als nächstes habe ich einen weißen Rolli unter dem Kleid an. Aber jeder andere Rolli wäre auch möglich: Roter Rolli, blauer Rolli … Nun sind wir schon bei mind. 6 Varianten. So geht es mit jeder anderen Styling-Idee weiter.
Next example shows a white turtleneck shirt underneath my dress. But it also works with any other turtleneck: Red one, blue one … Now we´ve got at least 6 variations already. Go on like this with every other styling idea.
Auch ein Blazer passt gut zum Kleid. Ich habe hier meinen grauen Fischgrätblazer gewählt. Ich kann aber natürlich auch andere Blazer dazu tragen.
Also a blazer goes nicely with the dress. I chose my grey fishbone blazer. Of course it works with other blazers too.
