WEIHNACHTSLOOKS FÜR ZU HAUSE / CHRISTMAS LOOKS FOR STAYING AT HOME

Hallo ihr Lieben,

überlegt ihr euch auch schon immer im Voraus, was ihr zu besonderen Gelegenheiten anzieht? Auch wenn die große Weihnachtfeier in diesem Jahr wieder ausfallen muss und ich zu Hause mit meinem Schatz feiere, sind Feste wie Weihnachten, Silvester oder Hochzeitstag bei uns Gelegenheiten, an denen wir uns regelmäßig aufhübschen. Und das ist zur Zeit sogar besonders wichtig für die Seele, finde ich. Mein diesjähriges Weihnachtsoutfit soll aber nicht nur schick, sondern gleichzeitig auch bequem sein. Für Heiligabend habe ich drei Ideen, die ich euch hier zeigen will. Welcher Look schließlich das Rennen machen wird, weiß ich noch nicht. Ich werde es euch aber nach den Feiertagen verraten.

do you also think about what you could wear for special events in advance? Even though the big Chrismas party had to be canceled again this year and my sweetheart and I celebrate as a couple at home, festive occasions like Christmas, New Year or Wedding Anniversary are always a reason for us to dress up nicely. And at the moment this is particularly important for the soul, I think. My Christmas outfit for this year is not only supposed to be chic, but comfortable as well. I have three ideas for Christmas Eve which I want to show you here. Which of them will finally win the race, I don t know yet. But I will let you know after the holidays.

Hoodie zum Plisseerock: / Hoodie with a pleated skirt:

Ja, richtig gehört: Ein Hoodie! Allerdings ist dieser besonders hübsch mit seinen Strasssteinen auf den Satinbändern. Ich trage ihn zu meinem silber-cremefarbenen Plisseerock und schwarzen Wildleder-Schnürbooties.

Yes, you got it right: A hoodie! Actually this one is particularly pretty with its rhinestones on the Satin ribbons. I´m wearing it whith my silver-offwhite pleated skirt and black laced suede booties.

Rollkragenpulli zum Tüllrock / Turtleneck sweater with a Tulle skirt:

Dieser Look ist ganz in nudefarbenen und zur Zeit besonders angesagt. Der Rollkragenpullover hat einen Glitzerfaden und ist etwas dunkler als der knöchellange Tüllrock. Das gilt auch für meine Mules.

This look is allover nude coloured, which is very popular at the moment. The turtleneck sweater has a glitter thread and it’s a bit darker as the skirt. And so are my mules.

Satin-Zweiteiler / Satin Two-piece

Mein schwarzer Satin-Zweiteiler besteht aus Hose und Top und hat ein goldenes Blütenmuster. Zusammen mit meinen schwarzen Wildleder-Kittenheels von Armani und dem Goldschmuck sieht der Look sehr glamourös aus.

My Satin two-piece is a top and trousers and it has a golden floral pattern. Together with my black suede Armani kittenheels and the golden jewelry the outfit looks rather glamorous.

So, mit diesem Post verabschiede ich mich für dieses Jahr. Ich wünsche euch wunderschöne Feiertage, passt gut auf euch auf und bleibt gesund. SPITZE FÜR DEN WEIHNACHTSMANN ? / LACE FOR SANTA ?

Langsam aber sicher mache ich mir ernsthaft Gedanken, was ich Heiligabend anziehen soll. Dieser Abend wird bei uns nämlich immer ganz besonders zelebriert, und dazu gehört nicht nur eine festliche Tischdekoration, sondern auch festliche Kleidung. Ich habe da mal was ausprobiert und finde, so könnte ich durchaus vor den Weihnachtsmann treten, wenn er seine Geschenke bringt:

Schwarzes Spitzentop (Adler Moden) und blaue High-Waist-Hose mit Bindegürtel (Mango, ähnlich hier).

Meint ihr, das würde ihm gefallen?

Slowly but surely I must make up my mind what to wear on Chrismas Eve. This evening is always a very special occasion for us, you know, and this not only includes a festive table decoration but also dressing up festively. I tried an outfit and I think it would be fine to meet Santa when he brings his presents:

Black lace top (Adler Moden) and blue high-waist pants with a sling belt (Mango, similar here).

Do you think Santa would like it?

SELF-MADE: EIN KLEID FÜR DIE FEIERTAGE / A DRESS FOR THE FESTIVE SEASON

Dieses Kleid aus Chenille habe ich mir schon vor ca. 3 Jahren genäht, trage es aber immer noch gern. Chenille hat ja Samt-Charakter und Samt erlebt ja gerade ein Revival, nachdem er längere Zeit in der Versenkung verschwunden war. Den Stoff konnte man von 2 Seiten verarbeiten. Da ich mich nicht entscheiden konnte, habe ich einfach die beiden Seiten kombiniert.

I made this dress of Chenille already 3 years ago I guess, but I still like wearing it very much. Chenille has got the character of velvet, which is enjoying a revival this season, after having vanished from the scene for quite a long time. The fabric could be used from both sides. Because I couldn´t make up my mind I simply used both sides.

Wenn man Sachen aus dem Kleiderschrank mit unterschiedlichen Accessoires kombiniert, bekommen sie eine völlig neue Aussage. So kann man aus einem normalen Winterkleid mit den passenden Accessoires ein Festtagskleid machen. Mit Statement-Perlenkette, Netzstümpfen, Lace-Ups und meiner Pollini-Clutch wird mein Kleid richtig weihnachtstauglich, findet ihr nicht?.

If you combine your items from the closet with different accessories, they achieve a completly new expression. So you can swith a normal winter dress into a dress for festive occasions. With a statement perl-necklace, fishnet tights, lace-up shoes and my Pollini clutch my dress becomes an outfit for the christmas season, don´t you think so?

MONOCHROM MIT STERNEN / MONOCHROME WITH STARS

Ich muss zugeben, ich bin eine richtige Frostbeule. Das ist zur Zeit, wo diverse Adventsfeiern und sonstige festliche Events anstehen, ein großes Hindernis. Während viele andere Mädels zu solchen Anlässen gern mal etwas Haut zeigen, überlege ich immer, wie ich mich chic machen kann, ohne zu frieren. So auch letzten Sonntag vor unserem Familien-Adventstreffen. Meine Lösung:

Grauer Plisseerock, grauer Rolli und darüber eine schwarze Longweste mit Bindegürtel. Als Accessoires habe ich eine Netzstrumpfhose gewählt und dazu meine Lace-up Pumps, die ich mir zu Doros Hochzeit gekauft hatte. Dazu trug ich eine lange Kette und meine graue Volker Lang-Clutch. Der Knüller war aber mein Ring mit Sternchen (unterstes Bild), der 100% zum Anlass passte!

Und wisst ihr was? Ich habe überhaupt nicht gefroren!

I have to admit, I´m a real chilblain. That´s quite an obstacle these days with all the Advent celebrations and other festive events. While many other women like to show some bare skin on occasions like these, I consider how to dress elegantly without being cold. That was also the situation last Sunday before our family Advent-meeting. This was my solution:

Grey pleated skirt, grey turtle neck longsleeve and a black long vest with a sling belt over it. As my accessories I chose fishnet tights and my lace-up pumps which I bought for Doro´s wedding. A long necklace and my Volker Lang clutch went with it. But the clou was my ring with stars (very last pic) which matched the occasion 100%!

And do you know what? I wasn´t cold at all!

OUTFITS FÜR DIE FEIERTAGE / OUTFITS FOR THE FESTIVE SEASON

Adventsessen, Weihnachtsfeiern, Silvesterparty, zur Zeit häufen sich die Gelegenheiten, zu denen man sich festlich aufhübschen und Sachen aus dem Kleiderschrank holen kann, die nicht so oft zum Einsatz kommen. Hier ist vorläufige meine Auswahl:

Advent dinners, Christmas celebrations, New Year´s Eve party, the festive season offers frequent opportunities to dress up nicely and to pick out things from the wardrobe that do not come into action very often. See my temporary choice:

Adventsessen / Advent dinners

Für diese Anlässe habe ich Outfits gewählt, die chic sind, aber nicht overdressed. Es ist ja noch nicht Weihnachten!

For these occasions I chose outfits that are chic but not over the top. I´s not yet Xmas, is it?

Hier trage ich mein Streifenkleid von Vila (Zalando), eine kleine schwarze Jacke (Vintage) und Loafers von Heine. Dazu passt Silberschmuck gut. / Here I´wearing my striped Vila dress, a little black jacket and loafers. Silver jewellery goes nicely with it.

Zum schwarzen Plisseerock von Mango trage ich ein Pyjamatop (H&M) mit Bindegürtel und eine Statementkette von Bijou Brigitte. Um das Outfit etwas herunter zu tunen, trage ich dazu wieder Loafers (s.o.). / I´m wearing a pyjama top with a sling belt, a statement necklace and a pleated Mango skirt. To tune down the outfit a bit I chose loafers with it again.

Zu meinem selbst genähten Peplum-Rock trage ich einen Pulli mit Tiger-Motiv und Pailletten, eine passende Gliederkette und braune Wildleder-Wedges. / I´m wearing a self-made peplum skirt, a jumper with a tiger motive and sequins, a matching necklace and brown suede wedges.

Weihnachtsfeierlichkeiten / Christmas celebrations

Nun darf es etwas festlicher zugehen. / Now it may be a little more festive.

Ich denke ich werde mein rotes Kleid mit Trompetenärmeln tragen. Rot ist ja die Weihnachtsfarbe und außerdem in diesem Winter sehr aktuell. Dazu wähle ich Goldschmuck und schwarze Booties. / I think I will wear this red dress with trumpet sleeves. Red is the colour to wear for Xmas and for this winter, too. I choose golden jewellery and black booties with it.

Das Kleid hat eine besondere Rückansicht. / The dress has got a special rear view.

Mit diesem dunkelblauen Kleid mit schwarzem Gürtel wäre ich auch weihnachtlich gekleidet. Dazu passt schwarz-silberner Schmuck und schwarze Schuhe. Diese Booties muss ich allerdings noch mal überdenken. / I´m also festively dressed in this dark blue dress with a black belt. It comes along with jewellery in silver and black and black shoes. I certainly have to think about these booties.

Auch dieses Kleid hat einen schönen Rücken. / This dress has got a nice back, too.

Silvesterparty / New Year´s Eve party

Das ist eine Gelegenheit für Ausgefallenes wie zum Beispiel meinen Pyjama (s.o.). / This is an occasion for unusual looks like my pyjama.

Dieser Pyjama (H&M, s.o.) ist doch ein Hingucker, oder? Mit Goldschmuck (Kette: Bijou Brigitte, ähnlich) und Ballerinas wird er zum Party-Outfit. / Isn´t this pyjama an eye-catcher? It turns into a party outfit with golden jewellery and ballerinas.

Das Pyjamaoberteil ist vielseitig kombinierbar. Zum Beispiel hier mit schwarzem Schlitzrock. / The pyjama top can be multiply combined. For example with this skirt with a slit.

Oder mit diesem schwarzen Jumpsuit. / Or with this black jumpsuit.

Das waren meine vorläufigen Ideen für Feiertagsoutfits. Aber es ist nicht gesagt, dass ich nicht noch neue Ideen bekomme. Es sind ja noch ein paar Tage bis Weihnachten oder Silvester!

These were my temporary ideas for my holiday outfits. But probably I´ll get some new ones. It´ll take a couple of days until Xmas or New Year´s Eve!
