Hallo ihr Lieben,

was gibt es gemütlicheres in der kalten Jahreszeit als Strick? Strickkleider, Strickhosen, Pullover, Pullunder oder Strickröcke liegen in der diesjährigen Herbst/Wintersaison modisch ganz vorne. In diesen Teilen fühlt man sich so schön wohlig eingekuschelt wie in eine Wolldecke. Nichts engt dich ein oder zwickt, denn Stricksachen machen jede Bewegung mit und halten auch noch schön warm. Und wenn sie dann auch noch so stylisch daherkommen wie mein weißer Strickrock, ist nicht nur der Wohlfühlfaktor garantiert, sondern auch der Stylefaktor.

Der Rock besteht aus Viskose und hat einen wunderbar weichen Griff. Er ist A-linienförmig geschnitten und knöchellang. Wenn ich ihn etwas kürzer tragen möchte, kann ich den breiten Gummizugbund problemlos umschlagen. Er ist ein wahres Kombinationswunder, aber ich trage ihn am liebsten mit Strickoberteilen. Ich zeige euch hier drei verschiedene Looks: einen sportlichen, einen schicken und einen Streetstyle-Look.

is there anything cosier for the cold season than knit? Knitted dresses, knitted pants, knitted sweaters, knitted vests and knitted skirts are fashionably absolutely in front this year´s autumn/winter season. Knitted pieces make you feel snuggled up as comfortably as in a woolen blanket. Nothing narrows or pinches you, because knit allows every move you make and on top knit keeps you nice and warm. And when a knitted piece comes along as stylish as my white skirt, not only the feel-good factor is guaranteed, but the style factor as well.

The skirt is made of Viscose and it has a beautifully soft grip. It is cut A-liniarly and has ankle length. When I want to wear it a bit shorter, I can easily turn up the elastic waistband. The skirt is a true combination miracle, but I prefer wearing it with knitted tops. I´ll show you three different looks: a sporty one, a chic one and a streetstyle look:

Chic with a dusky rose coloured sweater with ruffles at the neckline and the sleeves and black Chelsea boots.

Streetstyle mit violettem, gemustertem Pullunder über einer weißen Hemdbluse. Dazu schwarze Combatboots.

DEN HERBST IM STRICK-ZWEITEILER BEGRÜßEN / WELCOMING AUTUMN IN A KNITTED TWO PIECE

Hallo meine Lieben,

der Herbst ist nun da, und wie könnte man ihn angemessener begrüßen als in einem leichten Strickkleid? Dieses hier in cremeweiß mit beerefarbenem graphischem Muster ist ein Zweiteiler. Ein Oversizepulli gesellt sich zu einem schmalen Midirock. Beide Teile lassen sich aber auch wunderbar mit anderen Partnern kombinieren, das habe ich schon ausprobiert. Die helle Farbe des Kleides knüpft noch an den Sommer an, während das Material schon den kühleren Temperaturen des Herbstes angepasst ist. Gefällt euch der Look?

autumn has arrived now, and what could be better than welcoming him in a light knit dress? This one in off-white with a graphic print is a two piece. An oversized sweater joins a slim midi skirt. Both pieces can perfectly be combined with different partners, too. I´ve tried this already. The light colour of the dress refers to the summer, while the material is already adapted to the cooler temperatures of autumn. Do you like the look?

CREMEWEIßER STRICK UND SEIDE MIT RÜSCHEN / CREAMY WHITE KNIT AND SILK WITH RUFFLES

Hallo meine Lieben,

wie kommt es eigentlich, dass man im Winter zunehmend dunkle Looks sieht? Ich muss gestehen, dass ich auch dazu neige, zur kalten Jahreszeit vermehrt nach Schwarz, Grau oder Braun zu greifen. Dabei ist das Wetter dann häufig doch schon trist genug! Was spricht also dagegen, sich jetzt einmal ganz in Cremeweiß zu zeigen? Und wenn man sich dann gleichzeitig für Strick entscheidet, ist man doch perfekt für diese Jahreszeit gekleidet, oder?

Ich habe bei meinem Look – bis auf die Stiefeletten – alles bereits in meinem Schrank gehabt: einen midilangen Strickrock, eine Seidenbluse mit Volant und einen Cardigan mit Zopfmuster. Die Stiefeletten haben ein Leopardenmuster und geben dem Ganzen das gewisse Etwas. Und meine Haare passen perfekt dazu!

what can be the reason that you see increasingly dark looks in winter? I must confess that I also tend to dress in black, grey or brown in the cold time of year. But isn´t the weather sad enough most of these days? So what speaks against wearing creamy white allover for a change? And when you decide for knit at the same time, you are perfectly dressed for the winter season, aren´t you?

Everything for this look, except the booties, is from my cupboard: a knitted skirt in midi length, a silk blouse with ruffles and a cable-knit cardigan. The Cowboy booties have got a leopard pattern and provide the certain twist. And my hair matches perfectly!

VINTAGE-ZWEITEILER UND TROMPETENÄRMEL / VINTAGE TWO-PIECE AND BELLSLEEVES

Oh ich kann den Frühling kaum erwarten! Ich bin schon seit einer Weile damit beschäftigt, mir Frühlingsoutfits zu überlegen. Heute möchte ich euch dieses hier vorstellen:

Oh, I can hardly await the spring! I have been busy thinking about spring looks for a while already. Today I´d like to present you this one:

Der Strick-Zweiteiler ist ein Vintage-Schätzchen, und die Bluse stammt aus dem vorigen Sommer. Ich trage dazu meine Kunstfell-Schlappen und meine Tasche von Freds Bruder, die aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Lederstreifen zu fast allem passt. Wie gerne würde ich jetzt schon so zum Shoppen losziehen. Aber da muss ich wohl leider noch eine Weile warten.

The knitted two-piece is one of my vintage darlings and the blouse is last summer´s gain. I´m wearing my fake-fur slippers and my bag from Freds Bruder with it, which goes with nearly everything because of the differnent coloured leather stripes. I´d really love to go shopping like this right away. But I´m afraid I still have to wait quite a while.

LADY IN RED

Bordeaux ist in diesem Winter unverzichtbar und steht – so möchte ich mal behaupten – jeder Frau. Diesen Pullover habe ich gesehen und sofort gewusst, dass ich ihn zu meinem schwarzen Midirock kombinieren würde, den ich mal bei H&M gekauft habe. Allerdings passt er aber auch zu vielem anderen, z.B. zu meiner schwarzen Lederhose oder zu grauen Jeans.

Hier habe ich einen ärmellosen Rolli mit grau-schwarzem Leoprint darunter gezogen. Dazu trage ich meine geschnürten Pumps, die ich auch schon zu Doros Hochzeit getragen habe, und meine Clutch mit Clipverschluss von Volker Lang. Fertig ist ein chices, tragbares Outfit.

Bordeaux is an unavoidable colour for this winter season and – so I´d like to claim – it suits every woman. When I saw this sweater I knew from the very first moment that I´d like to wear it with my black midi skirt, which I bought some time ago at H&M. Actually it matches with many other items, too e.g. my black leather pants or grey jeans.

Here I´m wearing a sleeveless turtle neck with a leo print underneath. My black laced pumps, which I wore at Doro´s wedding before, and my clip-bag by Volker Lang go with it. This is what a chic and wearable outfit is like.

VINTAGE MAXIKLEID UND LIEBLINGSTASCHE / VINTAGE MAXI DRESS AND FAVOURITE BAG

Oft bin ich erstaunt, wie stylisch manche Vintage-Teile aussehen, wenn man sie mit modernen Accessoires kombiniert. So auch dieser Strick-Zweiteiler aus den frühen 90ern.

Mit Plateau-Sandalen, durchsichtiger Sonnenbrille mit blauen Gläsern und vor allem mit meiner derzeitigen Lieblingstasche wird ein Look daraus, der mir super gefällt!

Frequently I´m quite surprised how stylish some vintage items come along, when they are matched with modern accessories. That´s also the case with this two-piece knitted maxi dress of the early 90s.

Together with my platform sandals, transparent shades with blue glasses and above all with my current favourite bag it turns into a look I very much appreciate.

NICHT NUR COACHELLA / NOT ONLY COACHELLA

Endlich konnte ich mal wieder Fotos im Freien machen, ohne dass ich vom Winde verweht wurde oder die Kamera umgefallen ist!

Habe mir dieser Tage mal Gedanken zum Thema Festival gemacht. Man liest ja zur Zeit an jeder Ecke über Coachella. Und in allen Geschäften heißt die große Überschrift: Festivaloutfits. Diesen Hype habe ich in den vergangenen Jahren gar nicht bemerkt. Vielleicht habe ich ihn ja verschlafen. Oder haben der Einzel- und der Online-Handel wieder einmal eine neue Einnahmequelle entdeckt und suggerieren uns nun, dass wir ein Festivaloutfit (oder mehrere) brauchen?

Wie dem auch sei, dieser Boho-/Ethno-/Hippielook hat schon was. Ich habe diesen Style in den 60er und 70er Jahren schon getragen. Jaja, in der Mode kommt alles wieder! Die Gelegenheit, den Festivallook zu tragen, gibt es aber nicht nur in Coachella oder Glastonbury. Auch bei uns gibt es jede Menge Festivals oder Open Air Konzerte. In Köln z.B. fällt mir spontan ein: Rheinpark, Poller Wiesen, Fühlinger See, um nur 3 zu nennen. Ich brauche mir für solche Events eigentlich nichts Neues zu kaufen. Ich würde z.B. meinen schwarzen Jumpsuit tragen mit einem Streifenshirt und meinen Espadrilles. Dazu eine schwarze, selbst gemachte Basttasche und Ethnoschmuck. Wenn es abends kühl wird, ziehe ich meinen Ethnoponcho darüber. Na, bin ich so festivaltauglich? Was denkt ihr? (Ich habe aber noch andere Ideen!)

Finally I could shoot outdoors again without being dishevelled by the wind or the camera thrown over!

Thought about that festival thing the other day. Everywhere you go you read about Coachella. All around the shops you read: Festival outfits. I didn´t realize this hype at all in the past. May be I slept it away. Or is it an invention of the retail – or online trade to generate a new source of income and get us to believe that we need a festival outfit (or even two or three)?

Nevertheless, there´s something to be said for this Boho-/ Ethno-/ Hippielook. I wore this style in the sixties and seventies already. Oh well, everything is coming back in fashion. Actually there is many an occasion to wear a festival look, not only in Coachella or Glastonbury but here as well. We´ve got many festivals or open-air concerts, too. When I think about Cologne I know Rheinpark, Poller Wiesen, Fühlinger See, just to mention three of them. I don´t have to buy anything new for events like these. For example I would wear my black jumpsuit, a striped Tee, and my Espadrilles. A black, self-made bag of bast and Ethno jewelry go with it. When it´s getting colder in the evening I´d throw over my Ethno poncho. So, what do you think, am I prepared for a festival? (I´ve still got more ideas.)

WEIßE SNEAKERS MIT STRICKKLEID / WHITE SNEAKERS AND KNITTED DRESS

Heute wollte ich mal meine neuen Adidas Sneakers vorführen. Ich dachte, es sieht bestimmt ganz cool aus, wenn ich ein Kleid dazu kombiniere. Dann fiel mir noch eine Tasche in die Hände, die noch aus meiner Jugend stammt. Na ja, stimmt nicht ganz. Ich habe sie gekauft, als ich schon so um die 30 war. Ein echtes Vintage-Schätzchen also. Diese Taschenform sieht man jetzt wieder öfters. An dem Strickkleid gefallen mir besonders die extralangen Ärmel.

Today I wanted to present my new Adidas sneakers. I thought it would look quite cool to wear them with a dress. Then I got my hands on a bag that dates from my youth. Well, that´s not quite true. I bought it when I was already about 30. So it´s a real vintage darling. This shape of bags is frequently seen these days. What I particularly like about this knitted dress are its overlong sleeves.

2 VARIANTEN GRAU MIT WEIß / 2 VERSIONS GREY AND WHITE

Zur Zeit trage ich sehr gerne graue Sachen. Ich mag die Farbe einfach. (Obwohl Grau nicht wirklich eine Farbe ist.)

At the moment I´m a fan of grey clothing. I simply like the colour. (Although grey isn´t a real colour.)

Variante 1 / Version 1

Bei diesem Outfit habe ich einen hellgrauen Pulli mit weißen Ripped Jeans kombiniert. Dazu trage ich eine schwarze Cabanjacke und schwarze Lackschnürer. Der Look ist clean und ein wenig sportlich.

In this outfit I matched a sweater of a light grey with white ripped jeans. I´m wearing a black caban jacket and black lace-ups of patent leather with it. It´s a clean and a little sporty look.

Variante 2 / Version 2

Hier ist eine andere Variante von Grau mit Weiß. Allerdings ist hier das Oberteil, eine langes weißes Hemd, weiß und die Hose grau. Dazu trage ich wieder meine Lackschnürer und diesmal meine Daunenjacke für draußen. Das ergibt einen schönen Layering-Effekt. Ich mag beide Looks. Ihr auch?

This is another version of white and grey. But this time the top, a long white shirt, is white and the pants are grey. Again I´m wearing my lace-ups of patent leather with it and my down jacket for outdoors. It turns out to be a nice layering effect. I like both looks. Do you?

ESPADRILLES FÜR DEN FRÜHLING / ESPADRILLES FOR SPRING

Vorigen Sommer habe ich nach Espadrilles gesucht, jedoch keine schönen gefunden, die mir bequem waren. Dafür aber jetzt, als ich gar nicht danach gesucht habe. Sie sind aus schwarzem Velourleder, haben eine Plateau-Sohle und ein Fesselriemchen aus Glattleder. Und vor allen Dingen sind sie sooo gemütlich! Ich habe sofort einen Frühlingslook ausprobiert:

Ich trage dazu mein Streifen-Strickkleid und meine lange Weste. (Kennt ihr alles schon.) Eine passende Tasche habe ich auch gefunden. Ich habe sie vor einigen Jahren selbst gemacht. Sie ist aus Bast gestrickt mit Futter und Reißverschlussfach innen, wie sich das gehört.

Last summer I looked for Espadrilles but I didn´t find any nice ones that were comfy, too. But now I did, although I didn´t intend to find any. They are made of black suede with a platform sole and an ancle strap of soft leather. And above all they are sooo comfy! I tried a spring look right away:

I´m wearing my striped knitted dress and my long vest with them. (You know everything.) I also found a matching bag. I made it myself a couple of years ago. It´s knitted of bast with a lining and a little zipper-pocket inside, as is proper.
