VINTAGE VIBES WITH CAMERA BAG

Neulich habe ich in einem Modemagazin interessante Taschen gesehen, die an eine Kameratasche erinnern. Und ich dachte: So eine habe ich doch auch noch! Auf dem Dachboden habe ich sie dann auch sorgfältig in einem Schuhkarton verpackt gefunden. Ich war so froh, dass ich sie aufbewahrt hatte!!! Ich habe mir die Tasche 1993 (!) gekauft und bei meiner standesamtlichen Hochzeit getragen. Sie war auch damals schon ein ausgefallenes Modell (deshalb habe ich sie ja auch gewollt) und ist es wohl heute immer noch.

Ich trage zu der Tasche einen Pulli mit Trompetenärmeln (Mango) und einen Midirock aus einen Tweedstoff. Die passenden Vintage-Booties hatte ich auch noch im Schrank. Ja, es ist schon von Vorteil, wenn man einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank mit viel Stauraum hat! Da kann man dem ein oder anderen Vintage-Schätzchen Asyl gewähren, bis man es wieder zu neuem Leben erweckt. Wie findet ihr meinen Vintagelook?

The other day I saw some interesting bags in a fashion magazine, that reminded me of camera bags. And I thought: I´ve still got one like these; too! I found it in the attic, carefully wrapped in a shoe box. Guess how happy I was having stored it!!! I bought this bag in 1993 (!) for my civil wedding. Even then it was a very special item (that´s why I wanted it) and it still is, I think.

I´m wearing a light sweater with bell-sleeves (Mango) and a midi-skirt of tweed with the bag. I also had the matching vintage booties in my closet. It really is an advantage to own a walk-in-closet with a bit of capacity! There you can give asylum to one or the other vintage darling until it is brought back to life again. How do you like my vintage look?

MEIN MULTITALENT / MY MULTI TALENT: LOOK 8

Heute präsentiere ich euch einen neuen Look mit meinem silbernen Plisseerock. Ich denke, dass er auch im Herbst und sogar Winter mein Begleiter sein wird, denn ihr habt sicher bereits gemerkt, dass er fast zu allem passt. Wer selbst so einen Rock hat, kann das sicher bestätigen. Selten hat sich ein Kauf so gelohnt!

Today I present you a new look with my silver metallic skirt. I think that it will be my companion in autumn and even in winter as well, because it matches with nearly everything as you might have noticed. Everyone who owns a skirt like this can confirm this. Hardly was a purchase worth the money as much as this multi talent.

LOOK 8: Metallic meets leo

Ich habe den Rock dieses Mal mit einer blauen Leo-Bluse kombiniert. Eigentlich stehe ich nicht so sehr auf Leo, aber diese Bluse ist anders. Sie hat einen Reißverschluss und erinnert an eine Bomberjacke. Ich trage dazu Ballerinas. Booties würden aber auch passen. So gehe ich zum Geburtstag eines Freundes.

This time I matched the skirt with a blue blouse with leo print. Actually I´m not a fan of leo print, but this blouse is different. It has got a zipper and resembles a bomber jacket. Ballerinas go with it, but booties would be fine, too. I´m going to a friend´s birthday party in this outfit.

JEANSKLEID HERBSTLICH GESTYLT / JEANS DRESS STYLED FOR AUTUMN

Manche Sommerteile kann man gut mit in den Herbst nehmen, wenn man sie entsprechend kombiniert. Mein Jeanskleid, das ihr aus einem früheren Beitrag kennt, will ich auch noch nicht in den Winterschlaf versetzen. Daher trage ich es jetzt mit einem Tanktop darunter, einer schmalen weißen Hose und Wedges. Darüber passt ein Cardigan oder ein Trenchcoat. So wird es tauglich für die Übergangszeit.

Some summer items can be easily taken into autumn when they are styled the proper way. I don´t yet want to put my jeans dress, which you know from a former post into hibernation. That´s why I now wear it with a tank top underneath, slim white pants and Wedges. A cardigan or a trench are fine with it. So it can be transformed into an outfit for in between seasons.

COLD SHOULDER: SOMMERKLEID IM HERBST / SUMMER DRESS IN AUTUMN

Ich hätte nicht gedacht, dass ich dieses luftige Sommerkleid mit freien Schultern in diesem Jahr noch mal anziehen könnte! Aber an diesem Wochenende ist es tatsächlich noch einmal möglich (26°C sind vorausgesagt!). Man hat sich ja schon Gedanken über die ersten Herbst-Outfits gemacht, was nicht so einfach ist, wenn es noch nicht kalt, aber auch nicht mehr richtig warm ist.

Wenn ich dieses Kleid mit Jeansjacke und Wedges oder Sneakers kombiniere, wird daraus durchaus ein Look für den Übergang. Denkt ihr nicht auch?

I wasn´t expecting that it would be possible to wear this light summer dress with bare shoulders again this year. But in fact this weekend it´s possible once more (26°C are forecasted!). I´ve already started thinking about the first autumn outfits which is especially difficult, I think, when it´s not yet cold, however not quite warm any more.

When I wear this dress with a jeans jacket and wedges or sneakers it definitely turns into a look for the time in between. Don´t you think so, too?

MEIN MULTITALENT / MY MULTI TALENT: LOOK 7

Der nächste Look, der mein Multitalent, meinen weißen Metallic-Plisserock in Scene setzt, ist ein wenig Vintage angehaucht.

The next look featuring my multi talent, my white metal pleated skirt, is vintage inspired.

LOOK 6: Vintage style

Ich habe den Rock nämlich mit meinem Vintage-Pullunder kombiniert, den ihr schon von einem früheren Post kennt. Dazu trage ich ein khakifarbenes Batik-Shirt (Calvin Klein) und meine Babuschen aus der Türkei. Fertig ist ein hübscher Casuallook für etwas kühlere Spätsommertage.

You see, I paired the skirt with my vintage jumper which you already know from a former post. A khaki coloured batik shirt (Calvin Klein) and my babouches from Turkey go with it. That´s what a nice casual look for cooler days of the late summer is like.

NEU ENTDECKT / REDISCOVERED

Dieses schöne und luftige Kleid von Birger+Mikkelsen würde perfekt auf ein Festival passen. Ich habe es schon seit 2 Jahren, aber noch kaum getragen. Ich weiß auch nicht, warum. Jedenfalls ist es in diesem Sommer einige Male zu Ehren gekommen, dem Wetter sei´s gedankt!

This nice and light dress by Birger+Mikkelsen would be perfect for a festival. I´ve got it for two years already, but I´ve hardly worn it. I don´t quite know why. Nevertheless, this summer it was shown to its best advantage, thanks to the weather!

JEANSKLEID / JEANS DRESS

Dieses Jeanskleid habe ich noch rasch im Sale bei TKMaxx ergattert. Der Stoff ist sehr leicht (Lyocell) und trägt sich total angenehm. Der ideale Begleiter für die letzten warmen Sommertage! Es lässt sich auch gut mit einer schmalen Hose darunter kombinieren.

I discoverd this jeans dress right before the end of sale at TKMaxx´s . It´s of a light fabric (Lyocell) anf feels very comfortable. A perfect partner for these lovely warm late-summer days. It can also be combined with slim pants underneath.

MEIN MULTITALENT / MY MULTI TALENT: LOOK 6

Heute zeige ich euch einen weiteren Look mit meinem Multitalent Metallic-Plisseerock.

Today I show you another look with my multi talent metal pleated skirt.

LOOK 5: All White

Dieses Mal trage ich den Rock mit einem weißen Basic-Shirt, einem weißen Jäckchen, Statement-Kette und schwarzen Slingballerinas.

Meine Lieblingstasche trage ich als Clutch. Man kann die Klappe nämlich rumdrehen, der Jeansstoff ist dann innen. So passt sie besser zu diesem eleganten Outfit.

This time I´m wearing the skirt with a white basic tee, a little white jacket, statement necklace and black sling ballerinas.

My favourite bag became a clutch. The flap can be turned so that the jeans fabric is inside now. This way the bags goes better with this elegant outfit.

SUMMER FEELING: PALAZZOHOSE UND TROMPETENÄRMEL / PALAZZO PANTS AND BELL SLEEVES

Heute zeige ich euch einen hübschen und total bequemen Sommerlook mit meiner schwarzen Palazzohose mit Blumenprint und einer weißen Bluse mit Trompetenärmeln. Dazu trage ich schwarze spitze Sling-Ballerinas.

In diesem Outfit kann ich auf jede Sommerpary gehen oder mich mit Freundinnen zum Kaffeetrinken treffen. Es verzeiht nämlich locker ein Stück Torte oder einen Eisbecher.

Today I show you a nice and very comfy summer look with my black palazzo pants with a floral print and a white blouse with bell-sleeves. I´m wearing black pointes sling ballerinas with it.

I can go to any summer party in this outfit or meet friends for a cup of coffee. It easily hides a piece of cake or two or an ice-cream sundae, you see.

Dieses Mal präsentiere ich mein Multitalent in einem chicen Look mit sportlichem Touch.

This time I present my multi talent in a chic look with a sporty touch.

LOOK 5: Sporty chic

Ich habe den Rock mit einem blauen Sommerpulli und blauen Chuck-Wedges kombiniert. Die Wedges geben dem Outfit den sportlichen Touch. Dazu trage ich meine durchsichtige Sonnenbrille mit blauen Gläsern und eine lange Kette. So war ich vor Kurzem auf einer Gartenparty.

I combined the skirt with a blue summer sweater and blue chuck-wedges. The wedges give the outfit the sporty touch. My transparent shades with blue glasses and a long necklace go with it. I wore this outfit at a garden party the other day.
