Hallo ihr Lieben,

ich hoffe, es geht euch allen gut im „Hausarrest“ und ihr seid trotzdem guter Dinge! Jetzt ist Kreativität gefragt, und wir können die viele Zeit zu Hause nutzen, um Neues auszuprobieren oder um Dinge zu erledigen, die man vor sich her geschoben hat. So bin ich endlich dazu gekommen, meinen Kleiderschrank frühlingsfit zu machen, d.h. auszusortieren und neu zu ordnen.

Hi my dears,

I hope you are all doing well in your „house arrest“ and in good spirits anyway! Now it´s time for creativity, and we can use the excess of time at home to try new things and do everything that was pushed off for long. So I finally managed to make my closet fit for spring, sorted things out and rearranged them.

Dabei fiel mir ein Jeansrock in die Hände, der schon ein paarmal fast in der Altkleidersammlung gelandet wäre. Aber ich konnte es nie über´s Herz bringen. Gott sei Dank! Denn beim Stöbern in Netti Webers Instagram stieß ich doch tatsächlich auf einen fast identischen Rock eines teuren Designerlabels, den sie in mehreren Kombinationen fröhlich spazieren trug. Nun wusste ich, dass so ein Volant-Jeansrock sich wieder sehen lassen kann und nicht mehr als völlig aus der Mode gekommen angesehen wird. Darauf hatte ich insgeheim immer gehofft! Es lohnt sich wirklich, gewisse Teile aufzuheben, denn in der Mode kommt alles wieder! Ich habe sofort angefangen, Looks mit diesem Rock auszuprobieren. Einen habe ich bereits auf Instagram gepostet. Vielleicht hat der eine oder andere von euch ihn schon auf meinem IG gesehen.

Hier zeige ich euch nun eine Frühlingsvariante mit Rüschenshirt und Mules. Ich habe mir vorgenommen, mich nun auch zu Hause schick anzuziehen. Denn es wäre schade, wenn all die schönen Frühlingsteile wegen der aktuellen Lage im Schrank hängen bleiben müssten. Außerdem tut es der Seele gut, hübsch auszusehen.

On this occasion I came across a jeans skirt, which almost ended up in the used clothing collection a couple of times. But I could never bring it to my heart. Thank God! Because when I browsed Netti Weber´s Instagram I came across an almost identical skirt of an expensive designer label, which she happily presented in different combinations. Now I knew that a ruffled jeans skirt isn´t considered to be completely out of fashion any more. I always secretly hoped for that! It´s really worth it to keep certain items because everything comes back in fashion! Immediately I started to try different looks with this skirt. One of them I´ve already posted on Instagram. Perhaps one or the other of you has seen it on my IG.

Here I show you a spring variation with a ruffled shirt and mules. I decided to dress nicely while staying at home. It would be a pity if all my lovely spring clothes would stay locked up in my closet. It´s also good for the soul to look good.

FRÜHLINGSLOOK MIT VINTAGE-TRENCH / SPRING LOOK WITH VINTAGE TRENCH

Hallo ihr Lieben,

ob ihr es glaubt oder nicht: diesen Trench-Coat habe ich bereits 1986 gekauft! Er ist oversized geschnitten und ziemlich lang. Ich konnte mich nie entschließen, ihn wegzugeben. Heute bin ich natürlich froh darüber, und in der letzten Zeit sehe ich in bekannten Modezeitschriften oder auf IG häufig fast identische Mäntel. Es scheint auch, dass man in diesem Frühling nicht ohne Trench auskommt … Na, jedenfalls habe ich mir vorgenommen, das gute Stück in diesem verregneten Frühling wieder häufiger zu tragen. Z.B. in der abgebildeten Kombination mit blauen Culottes, weißem Shirt und weißen Sling-Sabots. Die Hose passt perfekt zum Streifenmuster des Futters, das ihr an den Ärmeln sehen könnt:

believe it or not: I bought this trench coat in 1986 already! It has an oversize cut and it´s rather long. I could never ever make up my mind to get rid of it. Of course I´m happy about it now, and recently I saw almost identical coats in well known fashion magazines or on IG. It even seems that you can´t get by without a trench this spring … Anyway, I´m up to wear it more often again this rainy spring. E.g. in the pictured combination with my blue culottes, a white Tee and white sling-sabots. The pants go perfectly with the striped lining of the coat, which you can see on the sleeves:

GELBER BLICKFANG / YELLOW EYECATCHER

Hallo ihr Lieben,

wie kann man ein farbiges Accessoire besser in Scene setzen als mit einem schwarzen Outfit? Denn Schwarz bringt jede Farbe zum Leuchten! Und diese hübsche gelbe Tasche hat es doch nun wirklich verdient, dass man sie einmal in den Mittelpunkt stellt, findet ihr nicht? Gelb ist eine meiner liebsten Lieblingsfarben, und daher ist es nicht verwunderlich, dass ich nicht widerstehen konnte, als ich das gute Stück sah. Besonders gut gefallen mir das Schleifendetail und die kleinen Nieten:

can you set a coloured accessory better into scene than with a black outfit? Black makes every colour shine, you know! And this beautiful yellow bag absolutely deserves being put in the center, don´t you think so? Yellow is one of my dearest favourite colours, and so it´s no surprise that I couldn´t resist when I saw this beauty. I especially like the bow detail and the little studs:

ALLES GELB / ALL YELLOW

Hallo ihr Lieben,

wenn ich eine Farbe mit Frühling verbinde, dann ist es Gelb! Ich möchte fast sagen, Gelb ist meine absolute Lieblingsfarbe. Mir stehen am besten warme Gelbtöne wie Sonnengelb oder Senfgelb. Als ich vorigen Sommer in Binz auf Rügen war, erspähte ich in einem Schmuckgeschäft eine Bernsteinkette, die mir supergut gefiel. Das ist besonders erwähnenswert, denn ich war schon oft in Gegenden, die bekannt sind für Bernstein, aber ich habe noch nie ein Teil gesehen, das mir gefiel. Alles sah immer so omahaft aus! Aber diese Kette hatte es mir angetan! Mein Schatz ließ es sich daher nicht nehmen, mir diese Kette zu kaufen. Als ich zu Hause war, stellte ich fest, dass ich kaum etwas Passendes zu der Kette im Schrank hatte. Umso erfreuter war ich, als mir dieses Kleid über den Weg lief. Ein passendes Gürteltäschchen gesellte sich auch noch dazu und zusammen mit meinen gelben Chucks entstand dieser Alles-Gelb-Look, in den ich ganz verliebt bin und der laut ´Frühling` ruft. Hört ihr das auch?

Hi my lovelies,

when I associate spring with a colour, it´s definitely yellow! I almost tend to say that yellow is my very favourite colour. Especially the warm shades of yellow like sun yellow and mustard yellow suit me best. When I visited Binz on the island Rugen last summer I discovered an amber necklace in a shop window, which I extremely liked. This has to be especially mentioned, because I´ve been to many areas which are known for amber, but I´ve never ever seen a piece I liked. Everything looked frumpy! But this necklace did it to me! So my sweetheart insisted to buy me the necklace. When we were back home I could hardly find anything in my closet that matched the necklace. I was all the more pleased when I ran into this dress and shortly after I found a matching waist bag. In combination with my yellow chucks this all-yellow-look was complete. I´m totally in love with it. Do you also hear it shout ´spring`?

BLAU UND WEIß ZUM GEBURTSTAG / BLUE AND WHITE FOR MY BIRTHDAY

Hallo ihr Lieben,

dieses blaue Top ist zwar ziemlich reduziert gearbeitet, jedoch ist es durch seine ungewöhnliche Länge und die Asymmetrie (hinten länger als vorne) trotzdem ein Hingucker. Es ist bis zur Hüfte gefüttert, unten ist es durchsichtig. Wenn man es von hinten sieht, hat es etwas Frackähnliches, findet ihr nicht? Ich dachte zu Dunkelblau passt am besten Weiß. Daher habe ich zum Top eine weiße Zigarettenhose, meine weißen Slipper mit Schleifendetail und ein weißes Schultertäschchen kombiniert. Das war mein diesjähriges Geburtstagsoutfit. Gefällt´s euch?

this blue top has got quite a reduced cut, but its extraordinary length and the asymmetric seam (the back is longer than the front) make it an eyecatcher anyway. The lining ends at the hips, below the hips it´s transparent. When you see it from behind, it has something of a tail coat, hasn´t it? I thought navy blue goes best with white. This is why I´m wearing white cigarette pants, my white slippers with a bow detail and a little white shoulder bag with it. This was my birthday look for this year. Do you like it?

TRENCH IS TREND

Ein Trenchcoat ist der ideale Begleiter durch das Jahr. Zumindest in unseren Breiten. Besonders jetzt im Frühjahr und im Herbst kann man auf ihn bauen. Aber auch an kühlen oder regnerischen Sommertagen, oder wenn der Winter sich von seiner milderen Seite zeigt, ist er der perfekte Wetterschutz.

Der Trenchcoat wurde in England für die britische Armee erfunden und besteht aus Gabardine, einem wasserabweisenden Stoff, oder aus Popeline. Ein klassischer Trench ist doppelreihig geknöpft, hat breite Revers, die hoch geschlossen werden können, Schulter- und Ärmelriegel, Vorder- und Rückenpasse mit Koller, einen Gürtel mit Schnalle und ist hinten geschlitzt.

Heute tragen auch die Damen Trenchcoats. Diese sind manchmal auch einreihig und haben modische Details. Meiner hat zum Beispiel einen rot-weißen Streifen auf den Ärmeln, die den Mantel besonders machen und einen Blickfang darstellen. Ich trage dazu Kickflare Jeans mit offenem Saum, ein weißes Shirt mit USA-Logo, eine rote Crossover-Tasche und spitze, hellbraune Pumps mit Kittenheels.

A trench coat is the perfect companion through the year. At least in our climes it is. Especially now in the spring time you can count on it. But also on cool and rainy summer days, or when the winter shows its gentle face, it´s a perfect weatherproof.

The trench coat was invented in England for the British army, and it´s made of gabardine, a waterproof fabric, or of poplin. A classic trench is double-buttoned, it has got a wide lapel, which can be closed up to the neck, shoulder- and sleeve-straps, yokes with coller in the back and the front, a belt with a buckle and a slit in the back.

Nowadays the ladies wear trenchs, too. Sometimes they are single-buttoned and have fashionable details. Mine has got a red and white stripe on its sleeves, which make the coat special and which are an eyecatcher. I´m wearing kick-flare jeans with an open seam with it, a white shirt with USA-logo, a red crossover bag and brown pointed pumps with kitten heels.

DREAM TEAM: OVERALL, CLOGS + RUCKSACK BAG

So ein schwarzer Overall sieht nicht nur cool aus, sondern man ist damit auch ruckzuck angezogen. Überlegungen wie ´welche Hose zu welchem Oberteil` werden überflüssig. Allerdings muss man bedenken, dass ein Besuch der ´Keramikabteilung` nicht besonders praktisch ist in so einem Teil. Aber was nimmt frau nicht alles in Kauf, um stylish auszusehen!

A black overall like this one doesn´t only look cool, but it won´t take a second to get dressed. There’s no need for thoughts like ´which top with these pants` or so. Though you have to consider that visiting the ´ceramics department` is not that easy with such an item. But there’s nothing women won´t do to look stylish!

Meine schwarzen Clogs von Camper habe ich auf Mallorca gefunden, in der ´Lederstadt` Marratxi. Sie sind super bequem, und durch das Fersenriemchen sehen sie ganz besonders stylish aus.

I found my black clogs by Camper in Mallorca in the ´leather city` Marratxi. They are super comfy and the heel-strap makes them look especially stylish.

Die beige Tasche rundet den Look ab. Man kann sie normal oder auch wie einen Rucksack tragen. So hat man beim Shoppen die Hände frei, hihi.

MIDI-BLUMENKLEID / MIDI FLORAL DRESS

Blumenkleider werden wohl nie aus der Mode kommen. Auch in diesem Frühling / Sommer kann frau nicht auf sie verzichten. Ich zeige euch hier ein Midikleid mit langen Ärmeln von Hallhuber. Ich habe es ein wenig verändert, indem ich den Ausschnitt vergrößert habe. Es ist aus einem fließenden Krepp und trägt sich wie ein Hauch von Nichts. Und es ist der ideale Begleiter für meinen nächsten Urlaub.

I guess floral dresses will never come out of fashion. In this spring, too women can´t do without. Here I show you a long sleeve midi dress by Hallhuber (link above). I changed it a bit by making the neckline lower. It´s made of a flowing crepe and feels like a touch of nothing. And it´s the perfect companion for my next holiday.

Zu meinem Kleid trage ich schwarze Accessoires, denn der Stoff ist auch schwarzgrundig: schwarzer Choker, schwarze Sonnenbrille, schwarze Schnürballerinas (leider nur noch in Nude erhältlich) von Conleys und ein schwarzes Täschchen (Vintage).

I´m wearing black accessories with my dress because the fabric´s ground colour is black, too: black choker, black shades, black laced ballerinas by Conleys (link above, only in nude available I´m afraid), and a little black bag (vintage).

Wenn es etwas kühler ist, ziehe ich meine Bomberjacke von Hugo Boss (vorige Saison) über das Kleid. Das changierende Schwarz-Grün der Jacke harmoniert perfekt mit den kleinen grünen Blättern auf dem Stoff des Keides.

When it´s a bit chilly I put my bomber jacket by Hugo Boss (last season) over the dress. The iridescent black-and-green of the jacket goes perfectly with the little green leafs on the dress´s fabric.

BALLERINA LOOK

Ich muss zugeben, ich habe etwas überlegt, ob ich mir diesen Tüllrock kaufen soll, da Rosa eigentlich gar nicht meine Farbe ist, sie steht mir einfach nicht. Außerdem wusste ich nicht gleich auf Anhieb, zu welcher Gelegenheit ich so etwas anziehen soll. Aber da der Rock ja weit weg vom Gesicht ist, ich ihn wunderbar mit Schwarz kombinieren kann und er außerdem recht günstig war, habe ich mich dann doch entschlossen. Eine Gelegenheit wird sich schon bieten.

I have to admit I was hesitating for a while before I bought this tulle skirt, because pink is not at all my colour. And I didn´t really know at which occasion I could wear a skirt like this. But the facts that the skirt is far away from my face, that I can perfectly match it with black and that it was a bargain convinced me in the end. I´m sure there will be an event to wear it.

Tatsächlich habe ich dann in meinem Schrank ein schwarzes Top mit Nieten entdeckt, die genau die gleiche Farbe haben wie der Rock. Das hatte ich schon fast vergessen.

Zusammen mit meinen Schnür-Ballerinas sehe ich fast aus wie eine solche, findet ihr nicht?

SPORTLICHE FALTEN / SPORTY PLEETS

Ich habe ja bereits (mehrfach?) erwähnt, dass ich Plisseeröcke liebe. Je nachdem wie man sie kombiniert, kann man mit ihnen völlig verschiedene Looks kreieren. Von elegant bis casual gibt es eine unendliche Bandbreite von Möglichkeiten. Allerdings birgt solch ein Rock auch seine Tücken. Man muss nämlich aufpassen, dass er nicht altbacken wirkt.

I´ve already mentioned (repeatedly?) that I love pleated skirts. Depending on the way of styling them you can achieve totally different looks, which range from elegant to casual with uncountable possibilities in between. Unfortunately such a skirt is a bit tricky, too. You have to avoid that it doesn´t look old-fashioned.
