wie jedes Jahr hat das Pantone-Farbinstitut wieder die Farben des Jahres festgelegt. Für 2021 sind dies: Illuminating, ein warmer Gelbton, und Ultimate Gray, ein Grauton. Diese Farbkombination steht für Hoffnung und Resilienz. So sehen die Farben aus:

Hi my dears,

like every year the Colour Institute Pantone determined the colours of the year again. For 2021 these are: Illuminating, a warm shade of yellow, and Ultimate Gray, a shade of grey. This colour combination stands for strength and resilience. Look how the colours are like:

Zufällig habe ich mir für den Sommer eine graue Leinenhose zugelegt und wie ich das immer mache, wenn ich etwas Neues habe, alle möglichen Kombinationspartner dazu ausprobiert. Dabei fielen mir die Pantonefarben ein, und habe daher alle meine gelben Oberteile zur Hose angezogen. Ich gebe zu, dass die Gelbtöne nicht unbedingt Illuminating entsprechen, aber sie harmonieren trotzdem gut mit meiner neuen Hose.

Coincidentally I purchased grey linen trousers for the summer, and like I always do with something new, I tried all combination partners possible with them. That was when I remembered the Pantone colours, and so I tried all my yellow tops with the trousers. I admit that the shades of yellow don´t necessarily hit the Illuminating yellow, but nevertheless they match nicely with my new trousers.

Gelbes Langarmshirt / Yellow Longsleeve

Dieses Shirt habe ich schon etliche Jahre, aber es ist eines meiner Lieblinge und hat mich schon oft auf vielen Reisen begleitet. Es hat silbergraue Details, die perfekt zur Hose passen. Ich trage weiße Chucks zu diesem Look.

I have got this shirt for many years already, but it´s one of my favourites and accompanied me on many a journey. It has silver-grey details, which go perfectly with the trousers. I´m wearing white Chucks with this look.

Gelbe Bluse mit Schluppe/ Yellow blouse with a bow

Das hübsche Blüschen hat nicht nur eine Schluppe, sondern auch Rüschen an den Schultern und ein kleines weißes Muster. Den Bindegürtel habe ich durch einen grauen Ledergürtel ersetzt. Dazu trage ich meine Sling-Sabots.

This lovely blouse doesn’t only habe a bow, but it also has ruffles at the shoulders and a little white pattern. I replaced the sling belt by a grey leather belt. I’m wearing my white sling sabots with it.

Gelber Pullunder / Yellow sweater vest

Ich trage hier einen gelben Pullunder und ein weißes T-Shirt zu meiner grauen Leinenhose. Zu diesem sportlichen Look passen meine weißen Sneakers. Ein schmaler, weißer Gürtel betont die Taille.

Here I’m wearing a yellow knitted vests and a white T-shirt with my grey linen trousers. White sneakers go with this sporty look. A narrow white belt emphasizes the waist.

ES WIRD WILD: TIGERMUSTER / IT´S GETTING WILD: TIGER PRINT

Hallo ihr Lieben,

diesen wilden Zweiteiler will ich euch auf keinen Fall vorenthalten. Ich wollte ihn schon voriges Jahr posten, aber das habe ich dann irgendwie verschusselt. Aber jetzt möchte ich das nachholen, zumal Tigermuster ja gerade ziemlich angesagt sind. So wie ich das häufig mache, zeige ich euch gleich mehrere Looks mit meinem Tiger-Zweiteiler. Achtung, es wird wild!

Hi my dears,

I not at all want to withdraw this wild two-piece from you. I wanted to post it already last year, but then I forgot about it somehow. But now I will catch up on it, even more because the tiger print is quite popular at the moment. Like I often do, I’ll show you several looks with my tiger two-piece. Attention, it’s getting wild!

Der Rock: / The skirt:

Beim ersten Look kommt der Tiger noch ziemlich zahm daher. Ich trage den Rock zu einem beigen Leinenpullover und meinen beigen Mokassins. Der Pullover ist ein edles Teil, das ich mir vor einiger Zeit mal geleistet habe. Er lässt sich zu vielen Stücken aus meinem Kleiderschrank kombinieren, und ich bin mir sicher, dass er mich noch sehr lange begleiten wird!

In my first look the tiger still comes along quite tame. I’m wearing the skirt with a beige linen sweater and my beige mokassins. The sweater is a noble piece, I invested in some time ago. I can combine it with many items from my cupboard, and I’m sure, that it will accompany me for a long time!

Auch beim zweiten Look trage ich nur den Rock. Ich habe ihn zu einer schicken Stehkragenbluse mit betonten Schultern und weiten Ärmeln kombiniert. Der schwarze Bastgürtel betont die Taille. Die schwarzen Sling-Espadrilles passen gut dazu. Ich finde, das ist ein schicker Sommerlook, und ich warte sehnsüchtig auf eine Gelegenheit, ihn zu tragen.

Also the second look only shows the skirt. I combined it with a chic turtle neck blouse with stressed shoulders and wide sleeves. A black raffia belt emphasizes the waist. My black sling espadrilles go nicely with it. I think this is a chic summer look, and I’m waiting impatiently for an opportunity to wear it.

Das Oberteil: / The top:

Beim nächsten Look trage ich nur das Oberteil. Ich habe ihn schon einmal im Blogpost ORANGE UND WEIß und auf Instagram gezeigt. Ich habe das Oberteil zur weißen Zigarettenhose und orangen Mokassins kombiniert. Ich freue mich schon darauf, diesen Look bald wieder tragen zu können!

In my next look I’m only wearing the top. I showed it already in my blogpost ORANGE AND WHITE and on Instagram. I combined the top with white cigarette pants and orange mokassins. I´m looking forward to wearing it again soon!

Der Zweiteiler: / The two-piece:

Achtung, jetzt wird’s ganz wild: Ich trage Top und Rock gemeinsam! Dazu passen meine schwarzen Mules. Und in der Mitte wurde der Tiger-Overload durch einen breiten Ledergürtel unterbrochen. Der betont nicht nur die Taille, sondern er lenkt auch ein wenig von dem auffälligen Tigermuster ab, denn beide Teile gemeinsam zu tragen, erfordert schon etwas Mut. Ich habe mich das bisher noch nicht getraut. Würdet ihr euch trauen?

Attention, it´s getting even morewild now: I´m wearing top and skirt together! My black mules match nicely with it. And in the middle the tiger overload is interrupted by a wide leather belt: Not only does it emphasize the waist, but it also distracts from the bold tiger pattern. It takes a bit of courage to wear both pieces together. I haven´t dared myself yet. Would you?

Tiger auf Reisen: / Tiger on vacation:

Die ganz aufmerksamen unter meinen Followern haben vielleicht bemerkt, dass der Tiger sich vor nicht allzu langer Zeit auch schon mal an der Cote d’Azur gezeigt hat. Dort ist er mir nämlich zugelaufen. Hier ist das Beweisfoto:

DER SOMMER KOMMT IN WEIßEN HOSEN / SUMMER COMES IN WHITE PANTS

Hallo ihr Lieben,

ich weiß, es dauert noch ein bisschen bis zum Sommer, aber bekanntlich ist die Vorfreude ja die schönste Freude. Mit dem Sommer verbinde ich unbedingt, dass ich meine weißen Hosen wieder tragen kann. Ich konnte es nicht lassen, schon mal ein paar Looks auszuprobieren. Hier sind sie:

Hi dears,

I know, it still takes some time until summer, but as everyone knows anticipation is the best joy. Thinking of summer I think of wearing my white pants again. I couldn´t resist from trying some looks already. Here they are:

Erster Look / First look

Als erstes seht ihr meine weit geschnittene, lange weiße Leinenhose. Ich habe sie mit einem kurzärmeligen schwarzen Pulli kombiniert, der durch seine zwei aufgesetzten, weiß umrandeten Taschen zum Hingucker wird. Der Pulli besteht aus Viskose und ist daher bei wärmeren Temperaturen besonders angenehm zu tragen. Die schwarzen Slingballerinas passen perfekt dazu. Wusstet ihr, dass Ballerinas in diesem Frühjahr/Sommer wieder hochaktuell sind?

First look shows my long white linen trousers with wide legs. I combined them with a half sleeve black sweater, which turns into a real eye catcher by its patch pockets, that are outlined in white. The sweater is made of Viscose, and so it´s very comfortable to wear at warmer temperatures. My black sling ballerina shoes go perfectly with it. Did you know that ballerina shoes are absolutely up-to-date again this spring/summer season?

Nächster Look / Next look

Der nächste Look ist schon ein sehr sommerlicher. Meine weiße Leinen-Coulotte trage ich mit einer Bluse, die Kimonoärmel und ein Hawaiimuster hat. Meine weißen Sling-Sabots sind auch mit von der Partie. Hoffentlich wird´s bald warm!

My next look is a very summery one. I´m wearing white linen coulottes, which I combined with a blouse with sleeves in kimono style and Hawaii pattern. My white sling sabots are also in the game. I hope it will be warm soon!

Dritter Look / Third look

Der dritte und letzte Look setzt sich zusammen aus einer weißen, knöchellangen Bootcut-Jeans, einem knielangen Jeanskleid und weißen Sneakern. Der Sommer kann kommen!

My third and last look is composed of white bootcut jeans in ankle length, a jeans dress in knee length and white sneakers. Summer may come!

GELBES BOHOKLEID – DAS WILL ICH NIE WIEDER AUSZIEHEN! / YELLOW BOHO DRESS – I WANT TO LIVE IN IT!

Hallo ihr Lieben,

manche Kleider zieht man an und möchte sie nie wieder ausziehen. So geht es mir auch mit diesem gelben Bohokleid. Man wirft es über und ist angezogen. Es hat die richtige Mischung aus schick und lässig, so dass man es fast zu jeder Gelegenheit tragen kann, auch braucht es nicht viele Accessoires, damit ein Look daraus wird. Und da der Sommer ja noch einmal in die Verlängerung gegangen ist, kommt das Kleid noch mal zur Geltung!

Ich habe zu meinem Kleid eine Basttasche und meine cremefarbenen Mules kombiniert. Wenn man dann noch eine Muschelkette dazu trägt, kann man glatt Urlaubsgefühle bekommen – sogar zu Hause auf der Terasse!

Hi my dears,

sometimes you find a dress which you want to live in. That´s what I feel when I´m wearing this yellow Boho dress. You throw it over and at once you are dressed properly. It´s the perfect mix of chic and casual, so that you can wear it for almost every occasion. It doesn´t need a lot of accessories either to become a look. And as the summer gives us some overtime, the dress is still in the game.

I matched a raffia bag and my nude coloured mules with my dress. And when you additionally wear a shell necklace, you almost feel like holiday – even at home on the patio!

LEINENLOOK BLAU-WEIß / LINEN LOOK BLUE AND WHITE

Hallo ihr Lieben,

kurz bevor der Sommer sich dem Ende neigt, zeige ich euch hier noch schnell einen sommerlichen Leinenlook, den ich kürzlich an einem warmen Tag getragen habe. Ich habe ein hellblau-weiß gestreiftes Hemdblusenkleid mit einer weißen, knöchellangen Hose mit weiten Beinen kombiniert (beides aus Leinen). Ich kann das Kleid mit oder ohne Gürtel tragen. Meine weiß-silbernen Sandalen passen perfekt zu diesem Look.

 

Hi my dears,

just before the summer is coming to an end, I quickly want to show you a summery linen look, which I recently wore on a sunny day. I combined a light-blue and white striped shirt dress with white, ankle-length flared trousers (both made of linen). I can wear the dess with or without belt. My white and silver sandals go perfectly with this look.

BRAUNES LEOKLEID MIT VOLANTS / BROWN LEOPARD DRESS WITH RUFFLES

Hallo ihr Lieben,

es hat eine Weile gedauert, bis ich mich für Leomuster erwärmen konnte, aber mittlerweile bin ich sogar Fan. Mein Kleiderschrank beherbergt inzwischen einige Teile mit diesem Muster. Eins davon zeige ich euch heute. Dieses Kleidchen wohnt schon seit letzten Herbst bei mir, da habe ich es mir nämlich im Sale gegönnt. Leider konnte ich es bisher noch nie tragen, denn zuerst kam der Winter und dann Corona und der „Hausarrest“. Aber das wird sich jetzt ändern! Jetzt ist es endlich warm genug, um mein Kleid auszuführen, und sei es nur zum Einkaufen! Es darf doch wohl nicht sein, dass in diesem Sommer 95% der Sachen im Schrank-Arrest verbringen müssen, oder?

Das Kleid besteht aus einem luftigen Viskosegemisch und hat Midilänge. Das Leomuster ist blau-grau-rosa auf hellbraunem Grund. An den halblangen Ärmeln und am Saum hat das Kleid Volants. Ich trage dazu farblich passende Espadrilles und eine Sonnenbrille, die ebenfalls Leomuster aufweist. Eine lange blaue Kette mit Tassel und ein passendes Armband ergänzen den Look. Wenn es kühler ist, kann ich eine Jeansjacke oder einen Blazer darüber anziehen.

it took quite a while until I could warm up for the leopard print, but meanwhile I´m a fan. My closet keeps several pieces with this print by now. I´m showing you one of them today. This lovely dress has been living with me since last autumn already, I bought it at the end of last year´s summer sale. Unfortunately I have never worn it before, because once I had it, winter came and then Corona and the „house arrest“. But now it´s time for a change! Meanwhile it´s warm enough to take my dress for a walk, if necessary for going shopping! It shouldn´t be that 95% of the clothes have to stay arrested in the closet this summer, should it?

The dress is made of a Viscose mixture and it has midi length. The leopard print is blue-grey-pink on a light brown background. There are ruffles at the half-length sleeves and at the hem. I´m wearing matching espadrilles with the dress and sunglasses, that have a leo print as well. A long blue necklace with a tassel and a matching bracelet complement the look. When it´s chilly outside, I can add a blazer or a jeans jacket.

BLUMENKLEID BLAU UND GRÜN / FLORAL DRESS BLUE AND GREEN

Hallo ihr Lieben,

Blumenkleider sind schon seit Jahren fester Bestandteil der Sommermode, und jedes Jahr findet man neue Varianten. Obwohl ich bereits einige besitze, konnte ich nicht widerstehen, als ich dieses hier sah, denn Schnitt und Farbe haben mich sehr angezogen. Es ist midilang und hat lange Ärmel mit Manschetten, einen Kragen und ist bis zur Taille geknöpft. Das weite Rockteil hat zusätzlich unten einen Volant. Das Kleid besteht aus Viskose und vermittelt somit ein angenehmes Tragegefühl, was mir sehr wichtig ist. Ich trage am liebsten Naturmaterialien oder zumindest einen Mix mit Naturmaterialien.

In meiner Jugend war es verpönt, Blau und Grün gleichzeitig zu tragen. Inzwischen ist nichts mehr unmöglich, da wird sogar Rot mit Pink oder Violett mit Orange kombiniert. Jedenfalls sieht man an meinem Blumenkleid, wie gut Blau mit Grün harmonieren. Zusammen mit Beige, Weiß und ein wenig Schwarz ergibt sich ein harmonischer Farbmix, an dem keine Modepolizei der Welt etwas auszusetzen haben könnte!

Floral dresses have been a fixed component of summer fashion for years already, and every year new variations are found. Although I already own some of them, I couldn´t resist, when I saw this one, because its cut and print attracted me a lot. It has midi length and long sleeves with cuffs, a collar, and its buttoned down to the waist. The wide skirt has an additional ruffle. The dress is made of Viscose and it´s very comfy to wear. This is very important to me. I prefer wearing natural materials or at least a mix with natural materials.

When I was young it was a no-go to wear green and blue together. Meanwhile everything is possible, even red is combined with pink or violet with orange. In any case my floral dress is the best prove how beautifully blue and green go together. In further combination with beige, white and a bit of black such a harmonic mix of colours was created, no fashion police in the world could complain about!

ORANGE MIT WEIß – EIN STARKES TEAM / ORANGE AND WHITE – A POWERFUL TEAM

die Farbe Orange ist meine ausgesprochene Lieblingsfarbe. Vielleicht liegt das daran, dass ich im Frühling geboren bin, denn keine Farbe passt besser in den Frühling als Orange. Sie steht für Sonne, gute Laune, Wärme und Lebensfreude. Besonders frühlingshaft ist Orange in Kombination mit Weiß. Der starke Kontrast lässt das Orange leuchten und springt ins Auge.

Ich zeige euch hier drei verschiedene Looks in Orange mit Weiß.

Hello my dears,

the colour orange is my very favourite colour. Perhaps that is because I was born in spring, and no colour suits better for spring than orange. It stands for sunshine, good mood, warmth and joy of life. Orange becomes even more springlike when you combine it with white. The strong contrast makes orange glow and catches your eye.

Now I show you three different looks in orange and white.

LOOK 1:

Das orange Top hat 3/4-lange, weite Ärmel und ist aus Viskose-Jersey. Dazu trage ich eine weiße Leinenhose mit hohem Bund, Bindegürtel und weiten Hosenbeinen. Der Look wird ergänzt durch silbrigweiße Schlappen mit Schlangenprägung, Silberschmuck und eine große, runde Sonnenbrille.

The orange top has wide sleeves of 3/4 length, and it´s made of viscose jersey. I´m wearing it with white, linen high-waist trousers with wide legs and a tied belt. Silver-white slides with snake print, silver jewelry and big roundish sun glasses join the look.

LOOK 2:

Dieses Mal ist das Top weiß und die Hose orange. Das Shirt hat Trompetenärmel mit einem kleinen Bindedetail. Die orange Hose ist aus Leinen und hat weite Beine. Sie gehört zu meinen Vintage-Schätzchen und ist schon über 20 Jahre alt. Meine nude-farbenen Mules, eine lange, orange Kette und eine Uhr mit orangem Lederarmband gehören auch zu diesem Look. Er wird abgerundet durch die runde Sonnenbrille.

This time the top is white and the trousers are orange. The white shirt has trumpet sleeves with a little orange strap detail. The trousers are of orange linen and have wide legs. They belong to my vintage darlings and ars over 20 years old. My nude coloured mules, a long orange necklace and a watch with an orange wrist strap also belog to this look. It is completed by round sunglasses.

LOOK 3:

Der Hingucker von diesem Look ist die Bluse mit orange-schwarzem Tigermuster. Sie gehört zu einem Zweiteiler, dessen Rock ich letzten Sommer in Südfrankreich gefunden habe. Die passende Bluse entdeckte ich später im Onlineshop. Die weiße Hose ist schmal geschnitten und hat 7/8-Länge. Die orangen, spitzen Lederschuhe im Mokassin-Stil setzen einen zweiten Farbakzent. Dazu trage ich eine Gliederkette und eine Cateye-Sonnenbrille.

This look´s eyecatcher is the blouse with its orange-black tiger print. The blouse is part of a two-piece and comes with a skirt, which I found in the south of France last summer. Later I discovered the blouse in an online shop. The white pants have slim legs and 7/8 length. The pointed orange leather shoes in Mokassin style add another colour accent to the look. I´m wearing a chain necklace and cateye sunglasses with it.

ROT-WEIß UND EDLE MATERIALIEN / RED AND WHITE AND NOBLE MATERIALS

Ihr Lieben,

dieser rot-weiße Look aus edlen Materialien könnte eine Hommage an meine Stadt (Köln) sein, ist aber Zufall. Der rote Wickelrock mit weißem Blumenmuster und Volant besteht aus einer Viskose-Leinenmischung und hat einen wunderbaren Griff. Der weiße Blazer ist aus reinem Leinen. Darunter trage ich eine weiße Seidenbluse. Das weiße Täschchen und die weißen Slipper runden den Look ab.

Ein weißer Blazer ist ein echter Alleskönner und nahezu unverzichtbar im Sommer, wenn die Sonne mal nicht vom Himmel brennt oder die Abende draußen kühl werden. Ich habe ein warmes Off-White gewählt, weil das besser zu meinem Hautton passt. Meine Sonnenbrille hat ein Leomuster.

this red and white look, made of noble materials, could be a tribute to my city (Cologne), but it´s random. The red wrapped skirt with its white floral print and ruffles is made of a viscose linen blend. It has a wonderful grip.The white blazer is of pure linen. I´m wearing a white silk blouse underneath. The little white bag and the white slippers complete the look.

A white blazer is a real all-rounder and almost indispensable in the summer, when the sun does not burn from the sky or when it gets chilly in the evenings. I chose a warm off-white because it goes better with my skin tone. My sunglasses have a leopard pattern.

Nun seht ihr den Look ohne Blazer. Wenn es mal mehr casual aussehen soll, trage ich ein weißes Shirt und weiße Chucks zum Rock.

Now you see the look without the blazer. When I want to make the look more casual, I wear a white Tee and Chucks with the skirt.

VORSICHT HINGUCKER: ROTES BLUMEN-MIDIKLEID / ATTENTION EYECATCHER: RED FLORAL MIDI DRESS

Hallo meine Lieben,

ein rotes Kleid ist immer ein Hingucker. Also Vorsicht, wenn frau nicht angeschaut werden möchte, sollte sie unbedingt rote Kleider meiden! Aber mal ehrlich, welche Frau möchte nicht angeschaut werden?

Mein Kleid besteht aus trageangenehmer Viskose. Es hat ein schwarz-weißes Blumenmuster, weite Ärmel und einen 3-stufigen Volantrock. Ich habe es hier mit meinen weißen Sling-Sabots und meiner weißen, transparenten Tasche kombiniert. Die schwarze Sonnenbrille, die schwarz-silberne Kette und die weiße Uhr runden den Look ab.

a red dress is always an eyecatcher. So be careful ladies, if you don´t want to be looked at, you should absolutely avoid red dresses! But be honest, is there a woman who doesn´t want to be looked at?

My dress is made of comfortable-to-wear viscose. It has a black and white floral print wide sleeves and a three tiered ruffled skirt. I combined it here with my white sling sabots and my white transparent bag. The black sunshades, a black and silver necklace and a white watch complete the look.
