Hallo ihr Lieben,

als ich diese Fotos gemacht habe war es über 35 Grad heiß. Ich liebe ja Temperaturen um die 30 Grad, aber 35+ ist mir nun doch zu viel! Und wenn man sich mein Gesicht anschaut, sieht man mir das auch an. Ich sehe etwas gequält aus, finde ich. Leider geht der scheinbar endlose Sommer jetzt wohl doch zu Ende. Aber heute ist es noch einmal herrlich warm. Daher will ich euch schnell noch dieses luftige Kleidchen vorstellen. Es trägt sich wie ein Hauch von Nichts und ist daher ideal für heiße Sommertage. Demnächst werde ich es wohl im Schrank verstauen, bis es Anfang des Jahres wieder zum Einsatz kommt. Dann fahre ich nämlich wieder in die Sonne. Wohin, verrate ich euch noch nicht, hihi! Es wird aber einen Reisebeitrag dazu geben, versprochen!

when I took these photos it was more than 35°C hot. I actually love temperatures of about 30 degrees, but 35+ was a bit too much for me! And when you look into my face you can see my forced smile, I guess. I´m afraid, this endless summer finally will come to its end now. But today it´s a lovely warm day again. That´s why I quickly want to present you this airy dress. It wears like a breath of nothing and thus it is perfect for hot summer days. Soon I will store it in my closet until early next year. Then I´ll take a trip into sunny areas. I won´t tell you the exact destination yet, hihi! But there will be a travel post, I promise!

DIE KALTE SCHULTER IM ROTEN KLEID / THE COLD SHOULDER IN A RED DRESS

Hallo meine Lieben,

um an meinen vorherigen Beitrag anzuknüpfen, zeige ich euch, bevor der Sommer endgültig zu Ende geht, eine andere Variante von schulterfrei. Bei diesem hübschen roten Kleid mit nudefarbenem Blütenmuster ist die Schulter durch Cut-Outs sichtbar. Außerdem hat es Volantärmel, ein weiterer Megatrend in diesem Sommer. Das Kleid ist aus Viskose und somit angenehm luftig.

Ich fand dieses gute Stück in der Hotelboutique in Lindos, wo ich meinen letzten Urlaub verbracht habe. Da ich in meinem Koffer noch Platz hatte, durfte es mit mir nach Hause fliegen! Ich trage hier zu meinem Kleid beige Babuschen, eine beige geflochtene Rundtasche und eine braune Cat-Eye Sonnenbrille.

to take up my previous post I now present you another variant of bare shoulders, just in time before the end of summer. This lovely red dress with a nude floral print leaves the shoulders visible by means of cut outs. It also has ruffled sleeves, which is another hot trend this summer. The dress is made of viscose and thus pleasantly airy.

I got aware of this pretty piece in the hotel boutique in Lindos, where I spent my latest holiday. And as I had some space left in my suit case, it was allowed to fly home with me! Here I´m wearing beige babouches, a beige braided bag and brown cat eye sun glasses with my dress.

SCHULTERFREI – EIN MUSS IN DIESEM SOMMER / OFF THE SHOULDER – A MUST HAVE THIS SUMMER

Hallo ihr Lieben,

ich kann mich nicht erinnern, wann der schulterfreie Look schon einmal so im Trend war, wie in diesem Sommer! Ob als Cut-Out oder ganz schulterfrei, ob bei Kleidern oder Tops – in diesem Sommer zeigt frau Schulter! Aber bei diesem Jahrhundert-Sommer kann es ja auch nicht luftig genug sein, oder? Als ich dieses Blüschen gefunden habe, war ich auf Anhieb angetan. Der Jeansstoff besteht aus Lyocell, einem wunderbar weichen Material mit hervorragenden Trageeigenschaften, über die ich hier schon einmal berichtet habe. Aber nicht nur das Material, sondern auch der schulterfreie Schnitt und die süßen Bändchen an den Ärmeln haben mir sehr gefallen.

Ich trage meine Bluse hier mit meiner selbst genähten Streifen-Culotte und hellblauen Espadrilles mit silbernen Pailletten drauf. Dazu eine blau reflektierende Sonnenbrille, eine blaue Kette mit Tassel und eine graue Tasche mit Clip-Verschluss. Fertig ist ein Look, mit dem man bei diesem Wetter genau richtig liegt!

I really can´t remember when off the shoulder looks were as trendy as this year before! Either as a cut out or completely off the shoulder, either with tops or dresses – this summer woman has to show her shoulders! But in this summer of the century nothing can be airy enough, right? When I saw this top I liked it at once. Its jeans fabric is made of lyocell, a wonderfully soft material with excellent wearing properties, which I already discribed here some time ago. But I didn´t only like the material very much, but also the off shoulder cut and the cute sleeve straps.

I´m wearing my top with my self made striped culottes and a pair of light blue espadrilles with silver sequins. Blue reflecting sun glasses, a blue necklace with a tassel and a grey clip bag also go with it. This is a look which is perfectly matching the current weather!

BLAU, BLAU, BLAU SIND ALLE MEINE KLEIDER / BLUE, BLUE, BLUE ARE ALL MY DRESSES

Na ja, nicht wirklich alle! / Well, actually not all!

Hallo meine Lieben,

bevor ich nach Griechenland gefahren bin, habe ich festgestellt, dass ich ein richtig luftiges Kleid brauche. Es sollte aber eins sein, das ich auch citytauglich stylen kann. Als mir dieses hier begegnete, war meine Entscheidung sofort gefällt. Es hat Spaghetti-Träger (was ja für einen Urlaub im Süden nicht schadet), aber mit einem T-Shirt darunter oder einer Jeansjacke drüber kann ich es auch bei Temperaturen unter 30 Grad tragen. Dass das Kleid mal wieder blau ist, ist mir erst hinterher bewusst geworden. Man könnte meinen, dass ich eine Vorliebe für Blau habe. Tatsache ist, dass ich Blau sehr gerne mag (wie auch vergangene Blogposts zeigen), dass ich aber auch noch einige andere Lieblingsfarben habe.

Mit meiner Vorliebe für Blau stehe ich nicht alleine da! Als ich früher im Kunstunterricht mit meinen Schülern über Farben gesprochen habe, stellte sich heraus, dass Blau mit Abstand deren Lieblingsfarbe war. Und tatsächlich ist es auch die Lieblingsfarbe der meisten Deutschen. Blau ist eine der 3 Grundfarben. Es wirkt kühl und beruhigend. Blau ist auch das Meer und der Himmel. Daher mag es wohl kommen, dass dieser Farbe ein Hauch von Ferne und Sehnsucht anhaftet. Somit ist sie doch perfekt für ein Urlaubskleid, oder?

before I went to Greece I realized that I need a really summery dress. It was supposed to be one that can easily be transformed into a citylook. When I ran into this one, I took my choice immediately. It has got spaghetti straps (what isn´t bad for holidays in the south), but with a T-shirt underneath or a jeans jacket over it, I can wear it at temperatures under 30 °C too. I only realized later, that the dress is blue again. It appears as if I have got a preference for blue. Actually I like blue very much (which becomes obvious in my previous blog posts), but I have a couple of other favourite colours, too.

I´m not alone with my preference for blue! When I talked about colours in art lessons with my students some years ago, it turned out that blue was the favourite colour of most of them. And actually it is the favourite colour of most Germans, too. Blue looks cool and soothing. The sea and the sky are blue, too. Blue is connected with a spirit of distant shores and yearning. That´s why it´s the perfect colour for a holiday dress, isn´t it?

NEUENTDECKUNG MARINEBLAU / NEW DISCOVERY NAVY BLUE

Hallo liebe Leute,

seit einiger Zeit habe ich die Farbe Marineblau für mich entdeckt. Ich finde, sie bildet einen schönen Kontrast zu meinen Haaren und ist nicht ganz so formell wie Schwarz. Besonders schön finde ich Marineblau in Kombination mit Türkis.

Dieses marineblaue Kleid hat einen ziemlich reduzierten Schnitt, aber punktet mit einer Besonderheit: Es hat ein Rockteil aus Chiffon, das neckisch im Wind wehen kann, wie man unten sieht. Um die sommerliche Note des Kleides zu betonen, habe ich eine türkisfarbene Kette und eine ebensolche Netztasche dazu kombiniert. Meine weißen Slipper mit der süßen Schleife dürfen natürlich auch nicht fehlen!

not too long ago I discoverd the colour navy blue for myself. I think it’s a nice contrast with my hair and it´s not as formal as black. I especially like navy blue in combination with turquoise.

This navy blue dress has quite a reduced cut, but it scores with a special feature: It has got a skirt part made of chiffon, which can playfully blow in the wind, as you can see below. To emphasize the summerly note of the dress I combined a turquoise necklace with it and a net bag of the same colour. Of course my white slippers with their cute bow detail should not be missing!

BEERE KLEID – EINE TRANSFORMATION / BERRY DRESS – A TANSFORMATION

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute habe ich mal wieder etwas Selbst-Genähtes für euch. Dieses Kleid war ursprünglich ein Zweiteiler, den ich vor ca. 3 Jahren einmal genäht und auch schon einmal gepostet habe. Er fristete bislang ein Schattendasein in meinem Schrank, bis ich nun auf die Idee kam, ein Kleid daraus zu machen. Seitdem ist es eins meiner absoluten Lieblinge.

Den Schnitt habe ich selbst gemacht, wie fast immer. Das Kleid ist aus Viskosejersey und fühlt sich wunderbar leicht und weich auf der Haut an. Es knittert nicht, und man braucht es nach der Wäsche nicht zu bügeln. Mit anderen Worten: Das ideale Kofferkleid. Daher darf es auch demnächst mit nach Griechenland fahren!

Ich trage es hier mit schwarzen Espadrilles und einer Ethnokette. Ein schwarzes Einkaufsnetz, ein schwarzer Bastgürtel und meine Cat-Eye-Sonnenbrille machen den Look perfekt.

today I´m coming along with a self made item once again. This dress originally was a two-piece, which I made about 3 years ago and which I already posted long ago. Ever since it has led a shadow existence in my closet, until now I had the idea of making a dress of it. Now it became one of my special favoutites.

I made the pattern myself, as I normally do. The dress is of a viscose jersey and feels wonderfully light and soft on the skin. It doesn´t wrincle and and there´s no need to iron it after washing. With other words: The perfect travel dress. That´s why it may accompany me to Greece soon!

Here I´m wearing it with black espadrilles and an ethnic necklace. A black netbag, a black raffia belt and my cat eye shades complete the look.

GROßE LIEBE: PLISSEEROCK GEWICKELT, MIT VOLANT / BIG LOVE: PLEATED SKIRT WRAPPED, WITH RUFFLE

Hallo ihr Lieben,

habe ich schon einmal erwähnt, dass ich Plisseeröcke liebe? ICH LIIIIEBE PLISSEERÖCKE!!! Aber dieses hübsche Exemplar ist nicht nur ein Plisseerock, sondern auch ein Wickelrock und ein Volantrock – alles gleichzeitig! Wie hätte ich da widerstehen sollen? Da nehme ich sogar in Kauf, dass das gute Stück im unteren Teil Rosa ist! Rosa ist nicht unbedingt mein Ding.

Ich habe den Rock hier mit einem weißen, schulterfreien Shirt, schwarzen Schlappen, einem schwarzen Einkaufsnetz und einer schwarzen Sonnenbrille kombiniert. OmG, ich bin verliebt!!!

have I ever mentioned that I love pleated skirts? I LOOOOVE PLEATED SKIRTS!!! But this pretty one isn´t only a pleated skirt, it´s also a wrapped skirt and a ruffled skirt – all in one! How should I resist? I even accept that this lovely piece has got a pink section at the bottom. Pink is not necessarily my cup of tea.

Here I combined the skirt with a white off-shoulder shirt, black slip-ons, a black netbag and black shades. OmG, I´m in love!!!

INS NETZ GEGANGEN / CAUGHT IN THE NET

Hallo ihr Lieben,

heute stehen die Zeichen auf Blau und Türkis. Dieses Kleid ist ideal für warme Sommertage. Das liegt nicht nur am leichten Stoff, ein Viskosekrepp. Nein, die kleinen Volants an den Ärmeln und dem Rockteil und die süßen Tasseln am Ausschnitt und in der Taille rufen ebenfalls Sommer. Das Blautürkis des kleinen Blumenmusters wiederholt sich im Einkaufsnetz, einem zur Zeit total angesagten Accessoire. Meine blauen Wildleder-Loafer und die silberne Kette mit türkisen Steinen passen ideal zu diesem Sommerlook! Gefällt er euch auch?

today it´s all about blue and turquoise. This dress is perfect for hot summer days. That´s not just because of the light fabric, a viscous crepe. No, it´s also the little ruffles on the sleeves and on the skirt part and the sweet tassels at the neck line and the waist that call summer. The blue turquoise of the little flower pattern is repeating in the shopping net, a very up to date accessory. My blue suede loafers and the silver necklace with turquoise stones match perfectly with this summer look. Do you like it too?

FAST EIN SOMMERLOOK / ALMOST A SUMMER LOOK

NEIN, die Pullover müssen definitiv noch etwas warten. Es ist eher Blusenwetter! Und das mitten im Oktober!!! Glücklicherweise hat uns Petrus noch einmal den Sommer zurückgeschickt. Danke dafür.

Ich habe hier einen Look rund um meine neue Obag zusammengestellt, die ich letztens in Roermond erstanden habe. Kennt ihr diese Marke? Das Besondere ist, dass man sich die Tasche individuell zusammenstellen kann:

Die Außenschale (hier weiß)

Das Innenleben (hier schwarz)

Die Henkel (hier lang, rund, schwarzes Leder)

Den Rand (hier fehlt er; ich habe für den Winter einen aus schwarzem Webpelz gewählt)

NO, sweaters definitely have to wait a bit! It´s kind of weather for blouses! And it´s mid-October!!! Luckily St Peter sent back the summer to us. Thanks for that.

This time I composed a look round about my new Obag, which I discovered in Roermond recently. Do you know this brand? The special thing about it is the fact, that you can put together your very individual bag:

Zur Tasche trage ich eine weiße Bluse mit farbigen Kanten und Gesichter-Druck. Dazu eine schwarze Slimjeans mit einem seitlichen Lederstreifen und weiße Flats.

I´m wearing a white blouse with coloured edges and a print of faces with the bag. Black skinny jeans with a leather stripe at both sides and white flats go with it as well.

GUT VERSCHNÜRT / WELL LACED-UP

Schnürungen sind zur Zeit ein großes Thema. Man sieht sie an sämtlichen Kleidungsstücken. Ich habe sie an dieser Bluse entdeckt, deren lange Form mir besonders gut gefiel. Sie hat diagonale Streifen, die man auch nicht alle Tage sieht. Mit der weißen Röhrenjeans und den blauen Accessoirs ist ein schöner Sommerlook entstanden.

Lace-ups are a big thing at the moment. You can see them on every garment. I discovered them on this blouse, which I liked because of its longer cut. It has got diagonal stripes that are not seen every day. Together with a pair of white skinny jeans and blue accessories a nice summer look was completed.
